1 TECHNICAL DATA ThreeBond 3055 & 3055B Acryl UV Hardening Adhesive Three Bond 3055 is a structural type adhesive, which can be cured when irradiated with ultraviolet ray of 300 ~ 400 nm. It can also be cured under action of primer, Three Bond Those parts that are exposed can be cured with ultraviolet light. The cured material is flexible and hence, has high impact resistance and good peel strength. Good adhesion can be achieved with special metals, glass, ceramic and various plastics. Features Cures under ultraviolet light (500 mj/cm 2 tack free) Fast curing (cures within 2~3 minutes using primer) Good adhesion strength Good moisture resistance Good impact and thermal shock resistance Good heat resistance Good adhesion strength, even with oily surface Ability to fill the clearances (1 mm thick) Low smell, and toxicity. (PII 0.0) Applications Bonding of Fixing of magnet rotary lens Stator coil and glass epoxy base ferrite core and motor chip parts screws end of coil pincer of LCD Sealing of switch-terminals 1/6

Heat cycle (no of repetition) Initial 50 Retention of strength (%) Handling Precautions The curing speed varies depending on the type and distance of light source. Harmful. Do not inhale or ingest. In the event that this product is ingested, consult a physician immediately. If using a large amount of this product or using for a long time, it is compulsory to ventilate the area well. If necessary, use mask, non-permeable gloves, and protective glasses. Ventilate well with local exhaust equipment. Areas where ultraviolet light cannot penetrate can be cured using primer Three Bond In the event of using the primer, the curing rate depends on the size of clearance. Practical strength can be achieved in 3 to 4 hours, while final strength can be obtained in 24h. In case of eye contact, do not blink or rub eyes. Wash under running water for about 15 minutes. Consult a physician immediately. In case of abnormal reaction, stop using, consult a physician. Do not use on human body. Persons with allergies or who are sensitive should not use this product. In case of contact with skin, wipe with a dry cloth and wash affected area with soap and warm water. Primer Three Bond 3097 is solvent based. Hence, it is important to ventilate the area well. Please read direction and brochure carefully before use. The product colour may change upon storing or upon curing. The product may react and solidify in the presence of metal, hence, do not use metal containers or nozzle. 5/6
