11 CHINA FACTORS China has dominated tungsten markets for the past 20 years, and currently supplies over 75% of world s tungsten. China has recently shifted from an exporter to a net importer with an increasing focus on producing downstream tungsten products. China now prohibits domestic tungsten exploration by foreign companies. Tungsten prices have increased as China s expansion and infrastructure build-out surpassed tungsten mine capacity. Geodex has opportunity to position itself as a key supplier in world tungsten industry.
