2 Magnetic Filter Model MFR Description KOBOD magnetic filters are used in many applications, including central system filters, were it is necessary to protect devices from dirt and contamination. Tey are used to catc and remove contaminants from industrial cooling and lubrication circuits, especially were residue and sediment from assembly (suc as cips from tread-cutting) and normal operation (suc as scale and residue from frictional wear) can be carried along in te medium being filtered. Contaminants of tese types can form deposits tat can cause pitting and corrosion in igly sensitive measuring and control devices. Regular maintenance and cleaning of te magnetic filter inserts will effectively prevent system and device failure and te resulting downtime. Te bar magnetic attracts and retains larger ferrous particles, tus making te magnetic filter easier to service. arger, coarse pieces of material are trapped by te filter cartridge. Te selected mes sizes, from 150 to 1200 μm, ensure tat te filter does not get clogged wit fine sludge and causes only a minor pressure loss.
