2 44 th Annual Mile High United Way Turkey Trot Date: Thursday, November 23, 2017 (Thanksgiving Day) Time: 8 a.m. Registration Opens 10 a.m. Race Begins Place: Washington Park, Denver, CO For more than 40 years, the Mile High United Way Turkey Trot has been a Thanksgiving tradition drawing more than 20,000 people to Washington Park for a four-mile run/walk and community celebration each year. By joining us as a sponsor, your brand will have the opportunity to be integrated into pre and post-race communications to past and current participants, Turkey Trot collateral (t-shirts, flyers, registration forms, etc), and have the opportunity to join us at our Start and Finish Villages, which draw runners, walkers, and spectators throughout the day. With mild weather forecasted, a start village featuring coffee and a post-race party stocked with live music, booths and a beer garden, this year s classic Denver Turkey Trot is sure to be the best yet. Thousands of runners will race the four mile course through the magnificent old trees and paved trails of Washington Park, situated in one of Denver's most stately historic neighborhoods.
