1 Edition: March 2017 Management Message We welcome you to DMC newsletter March edition. It was a busy month for DMC and its business partners because of our participation in the 25 Dubai International Boat Show2017, signing ceremoth nies with new business partners, awarding of facility management contract of MBC building to Imdaad and visit from Greece Ambassador being the highlights for the month of March. Pursing our vision of developing and managing a world-class maritime center, DMC team is working hard to make the city a suitable business environment for local and international investors/business operators and their customers. DMC received commercial/business delegates from Greece led by Greece Ambassador who visited DMC to get an overview of its facilities and services, to support and strengthen the relations between the two countries within the marine sector. This was possible with the help of Mr. Tahir Lakhani Chairman of DTA Group who facilitated this meeting. DMC conveys its sincere thanks to Mr. Lakhani for his continues support and initiatives to promote DMC. And last but not the least we would like to thank all of you and look forward to your participation in the up-coming exhibitions.

2 Dubai Maritime City participated in the Dubai International Boat Show 2017 (DIBS), the event was special and a huge success not only because the show has reached its 25th year milestone but also because it offered opportunity to increase the brand awareness of Dubai Maritime City (DMC) and interact with the very best of the regions established and upcoming companies.

3 The event offered real time insight on the current industry trends, extensive interaction & exchange of ideas with more than over 850 leading international, regional and local exhibitors from over 50 countries; making it an unparalleled platform for exhibitors to showcase their products to Middle Eastern and International marine investors and enthusiasts. DMCs aim was to participate along with their partners under the banner of Dubai Maritime City Pavilion to get attention of local & international marine and maritime industry to focus on DMC and its diverse marine operators that cater to the needs and standards of maritime industry. DMC extends its sincere thanks to its business partners Drydocks World (DDW) & Dubai Trading Agency LLC (DTA) for making this participation a success. We are looking for your support in the future to make this participation bigger and better. Our Marketing team will update you on such events.

4 The Greece s Ambassador, Mr. Dionyssios Zois was welcomed by the General Manager, Mr. Ali Al Suwaidi, at Dubai Maritime City on 26 February, The visit was primarily aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries with the prime focus to identify the investment opportunities within the marine sector. The vision, mission and significance of the city, to act as a dedicated hub for support of maritime trade activities at local and global levels, was presented by Mr. Muhammad Ibrahim, Director of DMC property management department. The facilities in DMC, its strategic location and its wide range of business partners from all sectors of the marine & maritime industry, is what makes the city attractive and desirable destination for investing and operating marine businesses. We thank our business partners Mr. Tahir Lakhani, Owner and Managing Director of DTA Ship Agency for his support in organizing the meet. We also thank Mr. Trevor Pereira, Managing Director of Maritime Standard for his participation.

5 Considering the current challenging business environment within the marine and maritime industry, DMC still remains to be popular destination for the marine companies to setup and operate. Its strategic location, logistics and support of DMC Management for businesses to grow especially in the ship repair plots that helps other intermediate operators like supply chain management and specialized services making it self-sufficient industry. On 12th Feb 2017, Dubai Maritime City has signed Musataha agreement with Mr. Nader Fayek Nashed, Owner of Romeo Marine (L.L.C), a leading ship repair company, for Ship Repair Plot SR-14. DMC would like to thanks Romeo Marine and acknowledges their confidence for choosing to expand their business in DMC.

6 March 16, 2017: Dubai Maritime City awards the facility management contract to G.C.C. s leading integrated facilities management (FM) company, Imdaad, based in Dubai. By awarding the contract to Imdaad, DMC aimed at providing best Facility Management services to the tenants of Maritime Business Centre (MBC) and the city. At Dubai Maritime City we strive to capitalize on the strengths of Dubai as a regional and global maritime hub as well as contribute to the emirate s efforts to create a dynamic urban lifestyle for the maritime community. We are confident that Imdaad will deliver superior integrated FM solutions according to our long-term strategy of providing seamless FM services to ensure safe and comfortable work environments for all employees and stakeholders, concluded Mr. Ali Al Suwaidi, General Manager Dubai Maritime City L.L.C.

7 Workshops DMC workshops offer frontage parking with an open space for loading and/or unloading and an easy accessibility of vessels. The space facilitates the manufacture, fix, repair, construction of marine vessels along with the provision of installing machinery. Workshops of two sizes are available within DMC: A. Small workshops of size 260 sq.m / 2800 sq.ft B. Large workshops of size 884 sq.m / 9515 sq.ft Showrooms DMC showrooms are unique in the area since it is the only space used to display wide range of products, goods and merchandise related solely to marine industry. What is more they are easily accessible within the entire area. DMC offers showrooms of 84 sq.m area with a dedicated parking area for clients. Warehouses Warehouses of 510 sq.m / 5490 sq.ft are available to store spare parts and materials used for marine related business activities. Shops Small retail spaces of sizes 64 sq.m / 694 sq.ft are available to offer a specified line of goods and services needed by the community.
