37 Top Tips for making the transition 1. No need to start again! 2. Undertake a gap analysis using the ISO framework 3. Create a certification plan taking into account. Target certification date The scale of the gaps to be addressed Resources, training and communication needs of the business 4. Create a group with technical experts from around the business 5. Engage with a reputable certifying body at an early stage 6. Start auditing to early and plan to hold a management review pre assessment 7. Get commitment and understanding from the top early on

38 Summary It is still early days for us- this isn't an overnight project. Linking benefits is to the system complex but we know they are there. Management committed to rolling our across our assets. Can align with best practice- get the fundamentals in place. Certification will help to ensure your system is on par with others.
