All of our structures are designed in accordance with the UBC (Uniform Building Code) and can be rated up to 110 MPH wind loads. If required by your local building department we will provide you with a certified structural drawing stamped by an engineer licensed in your state. Structures are available in arch, peak, saw tooth, and retractable roof styles. Coverings The next most important item to consider for your greenhouse is the type of covering material to be used. Choose from 6 mil Polyethylene in either single or double layer for the most economical covering. With double layer poly you can achieve up to a 50% energy savings. Choose Corrugated Polycarbonate which has very high light transmission when you want a hard covering that will last for years and years. For excellent heat retention we offer Twin Wall Polycarbonate which is guaranteed for 10 years against discoloration. All of the polycarbonate materials are resistant to hail and wind damage. Most coverings are available with UV inhibitors to provide long life and anti-condensate control to prevent dripping. In addition you can select corrugated steel siding from a wide range of colors for use on the north wall of the greenhouse or on packing sheds and head houses.
