Making transformation happen. Cloud adoption in healthcare.

Building an ecosystem to drive digital innovation in healthcare. UKCloud Health is proud to be celebrating one year on from our official launch of the UKCloud Health brand, where we demonstrated our commitment and dedication to the healthcare sector. We re proud to have helped the sector to embrace cloud technology in preparation for an increasingly digital future. Our heritage in the UK Public Sector has enabled us to support and grow an ecosystem of customers and partners and together we are driving cloud adoption and making transformation happen. Since this launch, our partner community has doubled. Together, we are accelerating innovation in healthcare with new ways of delivering care, driving efficiency, enhancing patient services and developing research. We re excited about the opportunities that cloud technology can deliver. It offers a rapid route to costeffective computing services in an era of big data and multi-agency care collaboration. Despite this, it represents a significant change in the way that IT services are delivered. Without the right partner, that could be a challenge. We re passionate about cloud, and so are our partners. We work closely with a growing community of partners who specialise in health technology to support the digital transformation of IT in the healthcare sector.

Here s a snapshot of some of the partners we are delighted to be working collaboratively with, where together we are making transformation happen.

Novastone Novastone offers a secure instant messaging platform that delivers an assured, encrypted system to support trust for health and care organisations. Its secure and compliant digital collaborative messaging tool for the NHS offers enhanced collaboration between clinicians and healthcare professionals with a WhatsApp-like experience that is NHS IG validated and GDPR compliant. This eliminates Malware in documents that are exchanged in chat conversations. The NHS favours buying proven technology, but technology from other industries can deliver benefits that healthcare can realise, said Douglas Orr, founder of Novastone. By working with UKCloud Health, we have been able to work with the NHS to do this. UKCloud Health has brought numerous use cases to us, and we have been able to develop the technology to meet relevant needs. Douglas Orr, founder and CEO of Novastone. Docman Docman is the leading supplier of advanced electronic document management, workflow and transfer software for Primary, Secondary and Social Healthcare organisations with many of its applications running on the UKCloud Health platform. Its technology is responsible for maintaining detailed records and documents for over 40,000,000 patients and managing over 3,000,000 items of patient correspondence weekly. Every day thousands of letters are sent to GP Practices electronically from secondary care providers using Docman Hub. Practices use Docman to process these letters around their organisation and manage them efficiently. Alistair Eaton, Chief Operating Officer from Docman, said: The Docman 10 application stores documents and structured messages to UKCloud Health. Docman 10 meets the challenges and demands of a 21st Century health economy, supporting Shared Care Records across a wider health landscape, new models of care including 7 day access, federated back office working and cross organisational workflows, tasks and messaging. Additionally, UKCloud Health s ENHANCED service allows documents to be immediately available from a secondary site for business continuity purposes. Alistair Eaton, Chief Operating Officer, Docman.

Genomics Run by Genomics England, the 100,000 Genomes Project is the largest national sequencing project of its kind in the world. It aims to create a genomic medicine service within the NHS, and to kick-start a UK genomics industry. Deidentified data is securely stored on the UKCloud platform, where authorised researchers have access to it. The project has already delivered diagnoses to some families, transforming the way NHS patients are cared for. Working with UKCloud, we ve pioneered the definition and development of a computing environment that can deal with the scale and complexity of genomics sequencing data something most hospital data centres would struggle to support, says Brown. Dave Brown, Head of Infrastructure at Genomics England Devon Partnership NHS Trust UKCloud and the Devon Partnership NHS Trust successfully collaborated to implement My Flu Jab App, a cloud-based application developed by the Trust to support staff during outbreaks of the flu. The app, which was developed by the Informatics team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust and is hosted remotely by UKCloud Health has enabled staff to significantly improve their productivity by speeding up the data recording process and eliminating errors. Vaccination recording would have taken 8 minutes each, they now take less than 2 minutes a 75% decrease in administration time In all it is estimated that a total of 16 man-days were saved by eliminating manual tasks, allowing valuable resources to be redirected to promoting flu vaccination In allowing direct submission of details and consent on to the system, it facilitated real time data collection, with cumulative flu vaccine totals visible. It also saved further processing time, post flu clinics, avoiding the need to submit paper copy details electronically separately. Win Win! added an Infection Prevention & Control Nurse, Devon Partnership NHS Trust & Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust.

Max Smith, Chief Revenue Officer, IMMJ Systems AT Tech AT Tech is the technology arm of AT Medics, one of the largest primary care providers in the UK, with 37 GP surgeries serving over 240,000 patients across London. To enable GPs to spend more of their time doing what only they can do, AT Medics developed a number of applications and training programmes that allow clerical staff such as receptionists and administrators to safely take over routine tasks from doctors, and give time back to clerical staff by enabling patients to self-serve via the web. UKCloud Health was by our side at the beginning, guiding us past pitfalls and providing invaluable technical support. With its secure, scalable cloud platform, we re confident that UKCloud Health is the right partner to continue supporting us as we grow and expand. Hasib Aftab, CEO, AT Tech
