7 Rai Connectivity Krishnapatnam Rai Company Limited (KRCL) is a Specia Purpose Vehice comprising the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Krishnapatnam Port Company Limited and Rai Vikas Nigam Limited, formed to provide rai connectivity to the port. Phase I: A dedicated 19-km raiway ine connecting the port to the Chennai-Kokata main ine. Phase II: A 91-km new broad gauge ine between the port and Obuavaripae in Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy District (previousy Cuddapah District), with an outay of Rs 600 crore.
