5 Union Centre interchange and its resulting transportation projects have brought about sustained and well-planned economic growth resulting in job creation and improved quality of life. Since 1997 in southeast Butler County: $1,542,349,540 of new real and personal property investment. 16,854,382 square feet of new corporate office, manufacturing, distribution, research and design, and commercial projects. 17,455 new jobs. Record business, manufacturing, and distribution growth. Major new office / technology development. Major new health care projects. Emerging regional center for health care, education.

9 I-75 and US 224 Findlay, Ohio DDI was leading alternative in 2006 Rejected at final decision due to safety concerns for unproven design

13 Grad University of Maryland France was using DDIs since 1970s Thus, he reinvented DDI concept In 2003, conference presentation impressed FHWA FHWA finished studying DDI in 2005

14 Double Crossover Diamond (DCD) Interchange An alternative interchange to conventional diamond interchange Gilbert Chlewicki reinvented DDI concept First DDI in United States opened to traffic on June 21, 2009 in Springfield, Missouri connecting SR 13 to I-44. Currently, over 100 locations in the United States
