3 MULTISKIN MULTILAYER PIPE MultiSKIN is a full range of multilayer pipes with diameters from 14 to 63mm. They are constructed in PERT/Al, with a strong aluminium core for more resistance to high temperatures and pressures. These pipes conform to EN ISO standards and are available in lengths, rolls, pre-insulated and protected in a corrugated conduit. After assembly, it is also advisable to protect the pipes against damage caused by other work being done on the site. The corrugated protector is made of polyethylene. It is fully impermeable and can withstand temperatures from -5 C to 80 C as well as a standard load of 450 Newtons. Insulated pipe Comap provides pipes with a round thermal insulating material. The extruded polyethylene foam protects the pipe against condensation, heat loss, expansion and noise transmission. should also be protected where they are grouped at high temperatures (floor heating effect).
