2 00. Get to know the termpir boards Insulation Boards termpir Unbeatable solution for increasing energy e ciency of your building! The Gór Stal insulation boards are resistant to chemicals, fungi, bacteria, rodents. Their undisputed advantage is the fact that they feature low absorption. Thanks to this, the impact of moisture on heat conductivity is substantially lower than it is in case of other types of thermal insulation. Low bulk density and high compression strength make it the ideal material for thermal insulation. In its whole volume the material features tight structure, which influences distinct improvement of the building energy e ciency. Safe for allergy sufferers as they do not contain either substances or elements hazardous for human life or causing undesired effects such as irritations of skin, eyes and respiratory system. Also, they can be recycled and largely reused. The termpir insulation boards are exceptional products which combine modernity with the unique thermal insulation properties, they are nature friendly and fully compatible with the natural environment. After purchase, the termpir boards become the customer's property and the customer can decide about how they make you use of it. None of the domestic or foreign manufacturers have the right to interfere with the method of installation or suggest possible solutions. Also, we do not intend to limit creativity of the Customer and Contractor in respect of the way the boards is used. We will not impose on anyone the parameters of our products as it would be at least unethical. Green architecture

6 03. APPLICATION OF INSULATION BOARDS Roofs, attics, walls, floors... Pitched roofs, attics The termpir boards are perfect for insulation of roofs, attics, thus eliminating problems of thermal bridges. When looking for light and effective thermal performance for the roof consider choosing termpir solutions. Build Up Roofs-Flat & Green roofs Roofs require insulation against moisture, frost and other weather conditions. The termpir products protect us against problems like moisture and compressive resistance, which is a key factor in flat roofs. TermPIR boards do not absorb water, ensuring the thermal and structural performance is maintained over time. Partition walls Excellent fire performance when exposed to fire, it will not melt or create a hazard for firefighters or exiting occupants. TermPIR WS products recommended for partition walls. We recommend the use of the termpir WS product especially for partition walls. Cavity walls The termpir AL boards provide low emissivity - the aluminium foil facers that cover the board, if applied where cavity air space is present, can claim higher thermal value for the airspace. Floors When it comes to an energy e cient home, the perfect choice for ground floor insulation is the termpir AL boards. They significantly reduce the heat energy loss of a building, hence giving way to a green building. Heated floors Under floor heating requires high performance thermal insulation and thermal conductivity in order to avoid heat energy loss. Light weight, space saving and easy to handle makes termpir AL boards meet that very important task.

7 03. APPLICATIONS OF INSULATION BOARDS Residential and industrial building You will find everything you need within the range of the termpir insulation boards. When fitting thermal insulation in a residential, industrial, cold storage or livestock buildings, termpir boards guarantee obtaining a low heat transfer coe cient of λd=0.022 W/mK and achiving a fast construction. The termpir insulation boards allow for a thinner application of thermal insulation, thanks to which you obtain a larger useful surface area using less material, hence maintaining the heat transfer and decreasing energy costs. You cannot achive these results using traditional materials such as styrofoam or mineral wool. TermPIR boards when applied as thermal i n s u l a t i o n systems p e r fectly m e e t t h e requirements to obtain a thermally e cient building. They have multiple applications used in a wide variety of situations including, but not limited to; pitched roofs, lofts/attics, flat roofs, cavity walls, ETICS, ceilings, floors and foundation walls.
