2 The Kyrgyz Republic is located in the north-east of Central Asia within the mountain ranges of the Tien-Shan and Pamir-Alai. Borders with the Republics of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the People's Republic of China. About 93% of the territory is mountains. 42% of them are over 3000 meters above sea level. The highest point is the Victory Peak (7439 m), and the lowest is Lake Ai- Kol (401 m) above sea level.

3 In the north-east at an altitude of 1,609 m above sea level there is the sixth deepest lake in the world, which is a group of the main sights of Kyrgyzstan - the mountain lake Issyk-Kul, on its shores there are numerous boarding houses, sanatoriums and tourist bases. The lake is located in the Issyk-Kul basin, between the Terskey Ala- Too ridges (from the south) and Küngöy-Ala-Too (from the north).

4 The uniqueness and peculiarities of Lake Issyk-Kul Lake Issyk-Kul - high-altitude lake, is located at an altitude of 1606 m. Length km., Width - 68 km., Depth meters. Water temperature in summer: from +22 C, to C at a depth of 50 meters. The lake is fresh, slightly mineralized.

Types of Emergencies in the Kyrgyz Republic : According to the Department of Monitoring and Forecasting Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic is subject to more than 80 emergency situations of natural, man-made, biological, social and military nature. The main types of emergencies that lead or can lead to a large number of human casualties, cause major material damage and have the greatest negative impact on the ecology of the region include:

6 Recently, the emergencies caused by global climate change have become most noticeable. So on the territory of the republic for the past 15 years, the. following natural and climatic changes have been recorded, having a negative impact on the biosphere. - a constant increase in the average annual temperature, expressed in an increase in temperature in summer on average by C, leading to drought; - intensive melting of glaciers, and as a result, a decrease in fresh water supplies; - strong winds, with gusts up to m / s;

7 One of the most important tasks of the SRTC is training specialists for units and formations of the executive subsystem and training the population to act in the face of threats and emergencies of various kinds. Training of specialists in the field of civil protection intended for work in the bodies of state and executive power, at enterprises and institutions of the republic is carried out at specially established faculties in institutions of higher education. The tasks for the preparation, training and retraining of rescuers are assigned to the State Center for Emergency Preparedness of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

8 With the purpose of training and retraining of rescuers, as well as heads of rescue services in the field of prevention and liquidation of natural and man-made emergencies on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, by Presidential Decree No. 752/10 of January 5, 2001 and Government Decision No. 388 of June 20, 2002, The State Center for the Training of Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic was established on the basis of a separate mobile rescue team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

9 Functions of SRTC MES KR: SRTC is a structural subdivision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic. The work of the center is organized on an ongoing basis. The organizational center consists of the following units: - management; - Training part; - search and rescue team; - security units. The tasks assigned to the center are functionally divided into two blocks.

10 Activity of SRTC MES KR: For the period from 2005 to The Center for the training of rescuers trained 9,800 people.

11 For the period from 2002 to 2017 the Center's units took part in the liquidation of more than 300 emergency situations. More than 500 human lives were saved, more than 3,000 people were helped in situations that threatened their lives and health.

12 Training of personnel: The Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the command of the Center pays special attention to improving the professional skills of personnel.
