1 EP coating, tested and approved water conservation systems, electrically conductive Characteristics Application Properties interior and exposed to weathering as coloured, electrically conductive coating for industrial flooring (HBV surfaces) with mechanical and chemical stress as a covering layer in the StoCretec WHG system 2 (Z ), StoCretec WHG system 6 (AbZ) very high chemical-resistance electrically conductive (TRBS 2153) crack-bridging up to 0.4 mm (according to the national technical approval) passable with Vulkollan and polyamide wheels sensitive to moisture while hardening Information/notes product is in accordance with EN for water pollution protection according to 62 WHG it is possible that some yellowing might occur in interior or exterior areas exposed to direct sunlight Technical data Criterion Standard / test regulation Value/ Unit Tensile strength (28 days) EN 1542 > 2.0 MPa Notes Viscosity (at 23 C) EN ISO ,360-2,040 mpa.s mixture Shore hardness D DIN D/EN ISO Density (mixture 23 C) EN ISO g/cm³ The characteristic values stated are average values or approx. values. We use natural raw materials in our products, which means that the stated values can vary slightly in the same delivery batch; this does not affect the suitability of the product for its intended use. Substrate Requirements Requirements on the concrete substrate: The substrate must be dry, load-bearing and free from characteristic or dissimilar separating substances. Less solid layers and slurry accumulations must be removed. Dry in accordance with the definition of the restoration guideline , depending on the concrete quality, however. The residual moisture may amount to Rev. no. 02 / SG / / 1/6

2 max. 4 weight per cent in case of concrete qualities of up to C30/37 and max. 3 weight per cent in case of C35/45 concrete, measured with the CM device. Substrate temperature greater than +8 C and 3 K ab ove dew point. Average tensile strength 1.5 N/mm² Smallest individual tensile strength value is 1.0 N/mm² Preparations Application Application temperature Processing time Mixing ratio Material preparation Prepare the substrate employing a suitable mechanical process such as shotblasting, milling and subsequent shot-blasting, or blasting with solid abrasives. Lowest application temperature: +8 C and a max. of 75% relative humidity Highest application temperature: +30 C and a max. o f 80% relative humidity At +10 C: approx. 60 minutes At +23 C: approx. 25 minutes At +30 C: approx. 15 minutes component A : component B = : 50.0 parts by weight Component A and Component B are supplied in the correct mixing ratio and mixed in accordance with the following instructions. Stir component A, then add all of component B. Mix thoroughly with a slow-running stirrer (maximum 300 rpm) until a homogeneous, streak-free compound develops. It is also vital to thoroughly stir at the sides and bottom to ensure the hardener is uniformly distributed. Mixing time at least 3 minutes. After mixing, pour the compound into a clean container and mix again. Do not apply from the delivery container! The temperature of the individual components must be at least +15 C when mixing. Consumption Type of application Approx. consumption As a covering layer (up to 0.4 mm crack bridging, national technical approval) 2.5 kg/m² Material consumption depends on the application, substrate and consistency, amongst other factors. The specified consumption values are only to be used as a guide. If required, precise consumption values should be determined on the project. Coating procedure StoCretec WHG System 2 1. Priming coat with StoPox WHG Primer Stipple filling with StoPox WHG Primer 100 (optional). 3. Install StoDivers LB 100 conductive strip and earthing connection. 4. Conductive layer with StoPox WHG Conductive Coating with StoPox WHG Top 110 Application StoCretec WHG System 2 (Z ) 1) Surface preparation Rev. no. 02 / SG / / 2/6

3 2. Primer Flood apply StoPox WHG Primer 100 with a foam rubber squeegee until the substrate is totally free of pores, and evenly spread by subsequent rolling. Avoid the formation of puddles. Consumption: approx kg/m², depending on the roughness of the substrate Rework in accordance with the time period indicated in the national technical approval without prior scattering. Sand the priming coat before coating in outdoor areas. 3. Stipple filling (optional for large substrate roughness) Fill StoPox WHG Primer 100 1:1 parts by weight with StoQuarz mm and StoQuarz 0.01 mm (MV = 1:1) apply using a smoothing trowel/squeegee with triangular toothing and ventilate with a spiked roller. Possibly add StoDivers ST filling agent Consumption: StoPox WHG Primer 100 approx kg/m² per mm of layer thickness consumption: StoQuarz sand mixture StoQuarz mm and StoQuarz 0.01 mm approx kg/m² per mm of layer thickness Determine the exact filling agent requirement depending on the temperature and slope of the surface on the project. 4. Install conductive strips and produce the earth connection. Stick self-adhesive copper strips (StoDivers LB 100) at intervals of up to 10 m on to the hardened priming coat, which are then connected to the grounding via copper cables (copper strands in accordance with VDE 0165). Light sanding is recommended for these areas to achieve optimal bonding. 5. Bridging joints (optional) For surfaces that are separated from each other by joints, the fields must be separately earthed or the adjacent fields have an electrically conductive connection to each other. Bridging is carried out with a loop-shaped, installed copper cable which is fanned out at both ends and fixed with a self-adhesive copper strip to the priming coat or the existing plastic coating. 6. Conducting level with StoPox WHG Conductive 110 StoPox WHG Conductive 110 is diluted with approx. 10% water and applied with a rubber squeegee or a roller and subsequently rolled. Consumption: approx kg/m² unfilled The functionality of the applied conductive layer has to be checked by measuring the bleeder resistance prior to the application of the next covering layer. The resistance to ground may not exceed 50 Kiloohm. 7. Coating StoPox WHG Top 110 Apply the material with a squeegee, spread evenly and ventilate directly / immediately without any waiting time using a spiked roller. Rev. no. 02 / SG / / 3/6

4 Consumption: approx. 2.5 kg/m² The consumption quantities must be observed and checked at regular intervals during coating. 8. Checking the resistance to ground: The measurement is carried out in line with DIN EN Application on vertical surfaces: 1. Filler and levelling coat StoPox WHG Primer 100, filling degree 1:1 parts by weight with StoQuarz (StoQuarz 0.01 mm/stoquarz mm) adding approx. 4 weight percent of StoDivers ST. Consumption of StoPox WHG Primer 100: approx. 500 kg/m² Consumption of StoQuarz 0.01 mm: approx. 250 g/m² Consumption of StoQuarz mm: approx. 250 g/m² 5. Conductive layer consisting of StoPox WHG Conductive 110, 0.2 kg/m² 3. Coating with StoPox WHG Top 110 and up to a max. of 4% StoDivers ST filling agent Note: Full mechanical and chemical load-bearing capacity: after 7 days. Discolouring can occur depending on exposure to chemicals which do not, however, impair the features of the coating. Slight deviations in the colour shade are possible between different batches. In the case of light colour shades, the conductive fibres are more or less visible in the finishing coat after curing. Any yellowing which occurs under UV stress does not have any effect on the technical properties of the coating. Observe the information on consumption, application and execution in the national technical approvals! Drying, curing, ready for next coat Reworking time: At +10 C: approx. 24 h At +23 C: approx. 18 h At +30 C: approx. 12 h Cleaning the tools StoCryl VV / StoDivers EV 100 Indications, recommendations, special information, miscellaneous The statement(s) of conformity can be obtained in the StoCretec Technical Information Centre General application instructions can be found at (Products) and in the appendix of the current manual "Technical Data Sheets" Rev. no. 02 / SG / / 4/6
