1 Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) Major Project Status Report State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for Pennsylvania (FY ) Federal regulations require that the STIP list major projects from the previous STIP and identify any significant delays in the planned implementation. The following is a list of major projects from the FY STIP and their statuses as of July 3, TRANSIT MPMS# County Project Name Project Status SEPTA Capital Asset Lease Program This is an active and annual program SEPTA SEPTA Utility Fleet Renewal Program - Non Revenue Vehicles Regional Rail Signal Modernization Program This is an active and annual program. This is an active and ongoing program. SEPTA anticipates completing the implementation of a Positive Train Control (PTC) signal system by December 31, 2015 in accordance with the federal Rail Safety Improvement Act of SEPTA Debt Service This is an active and annual program SEPTA SEPTA Federal Preventive Maintenance City Hall Station / 15th Street Station Rehabilitation This is an active and annual program. This is an active and ongoing project. The City Hall Station / 15th Street Station Rehabilitation project will occur in phases. The Dilworth Plaza Early Action Phase is currently in construction SEPTA System Improvements SEPTA Paoli Transportation Center Numerous SEPTA projects fall into the "System Improvement" category. To clarify project types this MPMS is no longer being used. Ongoing projects formerly listed under MPMS #77180 State of Good Repair are included in new MPMS #s , , , and This is an active and ongoing project. The Paoli Transportation Center project is currently in design SEPTA Vehicle Overhaul Program This is an active and annual program SEPTA Paratransit Vehicle Purchase This is an active and annual program.

2 TRANSIT (Continued) MPMS# Agency Project Name Project Status SEPTA SEPTA Fare Collection System/New Payment Technologies Job Access and Reverse Commute (JARC) and New Freedom This is an active and ongoing project. A contract was awarded to ACS Transport Solutions, Inc. (now a subsidiary of Xerox Corporation) in November The New Payment Technologies (NPT) system will be implemented in phases. Phase 1 of the project will include the complete design, deployment of the data network backbone of the rail transit system, and advance pilot testing of the NPT system. Phase 2 will include the installation of the system on Rail Transit, Trolley and Bus fleets. Phase 3 includes the Regional Rail, Parking Operations and Customized Community Transportation (CCT) segments. This program was repealed under MAP SEPTA Regional Rail Car, Locomotive, and Trolley Acquisition This is an active and ongoing program SEPTA Substation Improvement Program This is an active and ongoing program SEPTA Levittown Intermodal Facility Improvements (B) This is an active and ongoing project. The Levittown Intermodal Facility project design is complete and bid documents are being prepared SEPTA Ardmore Transportation Center SEPTA State of Good Repair This is an active and ongoing project. Ardmore Transportation Center project is in design. Numerous SEPTA projects fall into the "State of Good Repair" category. To clarify project types this MPMS is no longer being used. Ongoing projects formerly listed under MPMS #77180 State of Good Repair are included in new MPMS #s , , , and SEPTA 69th Street Intermodal Parking Garage This is an active and ongoing project. The project was moved from MPMS # to MPMS # Parking Improvements in the FY 2015 TIP. The 69th Street Intermodal Parking Garage project design has been completed and bid documents are being prepared SEPTA Infrastructure Safety and Renewal Program This is an active and annual program SEPTA SEPTA Bus Purchase Program This is an active and ongoing program. Under the current bus contract with Nova, Inc., SEPTA will take ownership of one hundred eighty-five (185) 60-Foot diesel-electric hybrid buses and ninety (90) 40-Foot diesel-electric hybrid buses by the end of calendar year SEPTA Bridge Improvement Program This is an active and ongoing program SEPTA West Trenton Line Separation Project This is an active and ongoing project. The components of the West Trenton Line Separation project that are necessary to comply with the federal Rail Safety Improvement Act will be completed by December 31, 2015.

BUCKS COUNTY I-95, PA Turnpike Interchange (TPK)- STAGE 1 Project is active in final design and is acquiring ROW PA 263, Old York Road Concrete Rehabilitation and Overlay Project was let for construction on 11/07/ Route 313 Corridor Improvements Project is coordinating with County on mitigation needed in a County owned park. Design is continuing PA 309, Sellersville Bypass, Resurfacing (PM1) Project is active in preliminary engineering phase I-95, PA Turnpike Interchange (TPK)- Section D10 Project was let for construction on 06/05/2014. CHESTER COUNTY PA 100, Shoen Road to Gordon Drive (02L) Project was let for construction on 12/19/ Paoli Transportation Center Road Improvements SEPTA had been leading the study effort for the companion Paoli Transportation Center project (MPMS# 60574), until the recent Amtrak-Disability Rights Network of Pa settlement agreement was reached on March 27, Amtrak is now looking to complete an interim project that will improve accessibility at the existing station and interlocking improvements by September The PE phase of this project will commence once the development of Amtrak project has sufficiently been advanced Schuylkill River Trail (Q20) This project is currently active and in the pphase US 202, Exton Bypass to Route 29 (Section 330-Mainline) Project was let for construction on 10/18/ US 202 over AMTRAK Project is active in the final design phase; construction is pending the execution of an agreement with Amtrak.

4 DELAWARE COUNTY US 1, Baltimore Pike Interchange Improvements PA 452, Market Street Bridge Over Amtrak/SEPTA Wilmington Newark Rail Line South Creek Road Bridge Over Brandywine Creek Project is active in the preliminary engineering phase. Project is active in final design, right-of-way, and utility phases US 322, Environmental Mitigation (MIT) Project letting is 10/9/14. Project is currently active in Preliminary design. The Rehabilitation Feasibility Analysis report is under review with FHWA. Once we have concurrence for rehabilitation or replacement, then Section 106 consultation meetings will begin. The CEE approval is anticipated in early US 322, US 1 to Featherbed Lane (Section 101) Project is in final design, and permit submitted US 322, Featherbed Lane to I-95 (Section 102) Project is in final design, and permit submitted I-95 Overhead Bridges Project is active in final design. MONTGOMERY COUNTY Old Betzwood Bridge Bicycle/Pedestrian Trail (C047) - Part 5 of River Crossing Complex Project was let for construction on 12/05/ Chester Valley Trail Extension (C036) This project is currently active and in the final design phase Plank Road/Otts Road/Meyers Road/Seitz Road Intersection Improvements Project is active in final design and is acquiring ROW Edge Hill Road Reconstruction US 202, Johnson Highway to Township Line Road (61S) US 202, Township Line Road to Morris Road (61N) US 202, Morris Road to Swedesford Road (65S) Project is active in final design; Township s consultant has submitted ROW plans for acquisition. Project is active in final design and right of way phases. Project is active in final design and right of way phases. Project is active in final design and right of way phases US 422/PA 363 Interchange Reconstruction (4TR) - Part 2 of River Crossing Complex US 422, Schuylkill River Bridge Over Schuylkill River (M2A-Stowe)) Project was let for construction on 07/11/2013. 5 MONTGOMERY COUNTY (Continued) US 422, (New) Expressway Bridge Over Schuylkill River (SRB) - Part 3 of River Crossing Complex Lafayette Street, Barbados Street to Ford Street Widening (MGN) Project is currently in final design; ROW acquisition and final design utility coordination are underway, Project is estimated to let for construction in mid FD, UTL and ROW phase is ongoing US 202, Markley Street Improvements (Section 510) FD, UTL and R/W phase is ongoing US 202, Markley Street Improvements (Section 520) Project was let for construction on 12/06/ Keim Street Bridge Over Schuylkill River Alternatives Analysis is being completed. Preliminary engineering will begin in PA 422, Resurfacing (PM2) BRPA Approved. PE is being finished. FD is to start in (3) months Lafayette Street Extension (MGL) Project is waiting for ROW and UTL clearance Ridge Pike/two RR Bridges Project is a companion to MPMS and is active in final design. PHILADELPHIA COUNTY Chestnut Street Bridges (4) at 30th Street Project is active in the preliminary engineering phase I-95, Shackamaxon Street to Ann Street (GIR) - Design Project is active in the final design phase North Delaware Avenue Extension Project was let for construction on 11/07/ I-95: Orthodox Street to Levick Streetjohn heinz wildlife refuge (BSR) - Design(IMP) Design parent for MPMS #s 79908, and I-95: Betsy Ross Interchange (BRI) - Design(IMP) Design parent for MPMS 3s 79903, and I-95: Ann Street to Wheatsheaf Lane (AFC) Project is currently in preliminary engineering st Street Bridge Over Amtrak's Harrisburg Line (CB) Montgomery Avenue Bridge over Amtrak at 30th Street (CB) Project is completing design and is projected to be let in the Winter of 2014/2015. Project is in final design and will be possibly let in Market Street Bridges (2) Over Schuylkill River and CSX Railroad (MSB) Project is active in preliminary engineering Grays Ferry Avenue Bridge Over Schuylkill River Project is in final design for letting late 2015.

6 PHILADELPHIA COUNTY (Continued) I-95: Cottman-Princeton Main Line and Ramps (CP2) (IMP) Project was let for construction on 5/17/ I-95, Columbia Street to Ann Street (GR1) Project was let for construction on 07/28/ I-95N: Columbia-Ann St N (GR3) Project was let for construction on 10/31/ I-95S: Columbia-Ann St N (GR4) Project is active in the final design phase I-95: Race - Shackamaxon (GR5) Project is active in the preliminary engineering phase I-95: Betsy Ross Bridge Ramps Construction (BR0) (IMP) Project is in final design and is to be let in late I-95N: Betsy Ross Inter (BR2) Project is beginning final design I-95S: Betsy Ross Inter (BR3) Project is beginning final design I-95: North of Bridge Street Interchange Construction (BS1) (IMP) I-95S: Bridge St Inter (BS2) Project is in final design, and right-of-way is being acquired. Project is in final design, and right-of-way is being acquired I-95: Allegheny Ave Interchange (AFI) Project is currently in preliminary engineering I-95: Allegheny Ave Inter (AF2) Project is currently in preliminary engineering Bridges Over Vine Street Expressway (I-676) (PAB) - Part 3 I-95: Shackamaxon Street to Columbia Avenue (GR2) (IMP) Roosevelt Blvd over Wayne Junction (WAV) Bridges Over Vine Street Expressway (I-676) (PAA) - Part 1 Bridges Over Vine Street Expressway (I-676) (PAC) - Part 2 Project is in final design and is to be let for construction in late December Project was let for construction on 8/9/2012. PE is completed; Environmental Clearance on 5/14/13; FD started in July 2013; current activity for bridge design, detour route, community coordination for joint use area. Project is in final design and is to be let late 2014 with MPMS Project is now combined with MPMS #80054, which will be late in late 2014.
