Pallet Racking systems Industrial shelving system suitable for palletised goods of multiple references. Characterised by being selective, it allows immediate access to all the loading units, with no need to move or displace the other pallets, which benefits the warehouse stock control. p 6-7 craftsmanship innovation experience quality involvement

Pallet racking systems Pallet racking is adaptable to the type of load: pallets of different sizes, containers, drums The racking can be combined with shelves for picking, manual storage or pallet-drawers, just to keep the loads perfectly organised. Ideal system for the storage of palletised loads of multiple references. Direct access to every pallet. Suitable for heavy loads and great heights. Adapts to your specific needs (in terms of area, dimensions, weight and volume).

Pallet racking: universal, flexible and modular This is the most universal and versatile storage option available on the market, thanks to a wide range of products and accessories which facilitate the storage of all kinds of goods. Furthermore, it s compatible with different lift system models (electric counterbalanced forklift, reach truck, stacker, bilateral tower, trilateral tower and trans-elevator). Pallet racking systems can adapt to any storage need and can include, for instance, double depth in the installation or space for a walk-through. The double depth shelving allows for the storage of a larger number of pallets by eliminating the center aisle. This option is recommended for products with various pallets by reference, as it s only possible to access the first placed pallets directly. Being modular, the installation is quick and easy, as is the replacement of expansion. Changing the installation in line with your own needs is easily done, allowing for the most suitable distribution at all times. p 8-9 craftsmanship innovation experience quality involvement

Drive in Compact Drive In storage systems are designed to use up to 85% of the available storage area. Drive In is a system capable of storing many loads with the same reference. Its configuration allows us to make maximum use of the warehouse height and space, thanks to the reduced space for working aisles. Direct access to each pallet is limited, in favour of a larger usable area. Drive In is the ideal system for storing loads with the same reference in depth. Greater storage density. Up to 85% of the available space can be used. Adaptable to different space requirements and to goods' dimensions, weight and volume. p craftsmanship innovation experience quality involvement

Drive in Accessories Post protector There is a high risk of accidental damage in the warehouse, due to the impact on the structure, mostly caused by forklifts. It is important to protect the bottom of posts and frames. Load level pallet stopper This element prevents the pallets from falling at the end of the aisle in a single entry type of Drive In. It is considered a warning element, trying to avoid the pallets colliding with the stopper as much as possible. Floor level pallet stopper This element works as an aisle end reference for the floor level in a single entry type of Drive In. It also serves as protection in case of vertical bracing in the aisle. It is considered a warning element, trying to avoid the pallets colliding with the stopper as much as possible. Pallet entry guide This element allows for easier pallet entry and guidance in the aisle, avoiding falls or damage to the goods. Aisle spacer This is placed on top of each aisle to maintain and secure the same distance between racks.

A cross-bracing set takes two aisles consisting of zig-zag distributed DV Profiles. Top fastening plate Bracing profile DV p craftsmanship innovation experience quality involvement

Drive in Vertical bracing Bracing layout which works as a stabilising element, controlling the upright displacement and increasing the installation's rigidity and stability. It is recommended that the vertical bracing is protected from potential impact from the pallets due to the use of material handling equipment, by placing load level pallet stops and floor level pallet stops. Rigidity tower Cross bracing layout located along an entire aisle over its entire length. As is the case with vertical bracing, it serves to increase the rigidity and stability of the installation. Top horizontal cross bracing will always be placed on the upper horizontal rigidity aisle.

Mobile Pallet Racking p craftsmanship innovation experience quality involvement

Mobile pallet racking System definition A Storage system with mobile bases consists of single or double undercarriages on which racking is built for single or double rows. This creates a very compact storage method, as only the required aisle will be opened up to store or remove a certain load. A mobile pallet racking system is a sensible solution, especially where space is a problem, or in an expensive environment. 1 Racking Standard pallet racking is mounted on top of the mobile bases, the combination of which is subject to some special requirements. RLS ensures all these requirements are fulfilled. This can be either painted or galvanised racking. This kind of storage system is often used in cold store applications, whereby galvanised racking can be an option for stored food which also has special requirements 2 Mobile Bases The metallic structure of the mobile bases is equipped with electric motors and wheels. This allows for the movement of the racks. The movement of the racks is smoothless because of the stability, the system therefore has a precise electronic controller. 1 3 Rails Those are the steel profiles inserted in the floor whereby the wheels of the mobile bases move through. 2 3

Main features When the reduction of the space is the main criterion or necessity when developing the required storage solution, this option with mobile bases is the most adequate. A pallet rack with mobile bases is the ideal system for cold stores (for both refrigerated and frozen goods), where the cost of storage (frozen cubic metre) is high, as this system allows for the maximum possible use of the available space. This system with mobile bases increases the storage capacity and reduces the free space in the warehouse by eliminating all except one aisle and by allowing direct access to each pallet. It is very simple in terms of its use, as the racking is installed on the mobile bases, which allows for the lateral movement of each double row through the rails fixed in the floor, thereby avoiding the existence of unnecessary aisles, but always having direct access to each pallet. The aisle which needs to be accessed is selected manually or by remote control. This system allows for the storage of a huge number of different references, and it is compatible with other storage systems, such as picking places at bottom levels. It also guarantees the safety of people working there and the preservation of the goods in a good condition. The main advantage of mobile base racking compared to a conventional pallet racking system is the possibility to efficiently use the space to store goods in a warehouse. Since the existence of those mobile bases, it has considerably reduced the number of aisles in the applicable applications. p craftsmanship innovation experience quality involvement

Mobile pallet racking Side view of a warehouse with a conventional pallet rack Only one open aisle Closed aisles Side view of a warehouse with racks on mobile bases Master/individual control panel and safety. These mechanisms ease the movement of the different rows of racks. Safety devices are used to avoid the crushing or entrapment of operators when rows need to be moved.

Automated storage systems Manage your warehouses fully automated and optimise the storage, the picking processes and the shipping of your goods. Maximum stock control. Speed up your picking processes. Higher efficacy in inbound and outbound goods. Save space, time and money. p craftsmanship innovation experience quality involvement

Automated storage systems

Multi Deep Storage - Shuttle Solutions The automation of logistical processes and the storage through technologically advanced automated applications requires the use of industrial racking systems, adapted in line with the project's requirements and operative specifications. RLS provides storage systems for palletised goods, stored in high and narrow aisles. The loading units are handled by automated stacker cranes. These storage solutions can be designed as single or double deep structures, and also as open face solutions for the storage of a single pallet per level and bay. p craftsmanship innovation experience quality involvement

Automated storage systems Pallet racking for accumulative storage through shuttles The loading units are stored in depth. They can be handled through stacker cranes or with elevators and transport shuttles. Productivity and cost reduction The automation of storage systems increases the productivity of your logistical activities. A reduction in operating costs, a reduction in damage, as well as an increase in safety can be achieved through higher levels of automation.

Automated storage systems Miniload - automated systems for boxes and totes Miniload systems are most appropriate for the storage of light boxes. These systems can be operated with stacker cranes for one box per level (uniload), or for multiple boxes per level (multiload). This storage solution can be designed for the in-depth storage of boxes, operated by stacker cranes combined with shuttle cars. Very high projects can be projected as multilevel miniload solutions with two stacker cranes in height. Quality assurance Automated storage systems are very precise solutions which require high quality standards for the racking, with very strict tolerances. RLS stands for the highest quality materials, proven quality procedures and a competent human team with extensive experience in the design and installation of racking systems.

Rack clad buildings Rack clad building storage solutions are technologically advanced structures, which allow for the storage of palletised goods in high structures (up to 40 m and more). The cladding and roof are fixed to the structure. The structure serves a dual purpose: both as storage equipment and a building structure. The best solution for high storage facilities of up to 40 m and more. Self-supported: the racking is its own building structure. Construction of conventional warehouse building is not required. Maximum use of available space. Flexible and adaptable to specific storage needs (loading units, dimensions, ) Automated systems with several levels of productivity. p craftsmanship innovation experience quality involvement
