With the selection of primary colours and the option of shaped low height doors, Cubicle Express is the perfect solution for school environments. The introduction of our wood grain finish Alder now provides customers with a smart alternative for commercial environments. Extensive new product development ensures that the Cubicle Express range takes flexibility to new levels, with innovative features such as channels that replace cleats and a new universal hinge. 9 A guide for installers Each product pack (cubicles, duct panels and vanity units) will be supplied fully boxed, clearly labelled, complete with all the necessary fixing components and installation instructions. Product specification Cubicle and duct panels: 19mm Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC) - choice of 5 colours for cubicle doors, partitions and duct panels, pilasters have Dark Grey as an additional colour option. Vanity tops 19mm overall thickness laminate faced chipboard with 36mm deep, bull-nose front edge and 75mm high post-formed rear upstand. Choice of 5 colours Flashgaps Dark Grey 19mm Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC). Lippings Dark Grey Impact resistant 3mm PVC. Fittings Dark Grey Polycarbonate/nylon. Headrail Dark Grey U-section aluminium. Installation details The installer needs to provide an appropriate timber frame (typically Ex 50 x 50mm treated softwood) to support the duct panels and vanity units please refer to technical drawings. Components are supplied to standard dimensions as detailed on the previous pages. Adjustments can be made to cubicles by reducing doors and partitions and fitting into full-length door channels or wall channels as appropriate. Duct widths and heights can be varied by adjusting the width of the flashgaps. If it is necessary to cut duct panels, additional 3mm PVC re-edging strips are supplied. The return end panel for vanity units will be supplied oversized to enable the installer to make on site adjustments. Sanitaryware Sanitaryware, brassware and associated fittings are not included and should be obtained from an appropriate Armitage Shanks stockist. 10 Selecting Cubicle Express could not be simpler Follow the steps below for a straightforward guide to choosing the Cubicle Express packs for your project. Panel Selection 1 For each range of panels determine how many you want of each type. 2 Check that they will fit into the space available on site. Always leave a vertical gap 25mm wide between a panel and a wall (see "Panel to blockwork corner" drawing). Leave a 25mm wide vertical gap between each panel (see "Panel to panel" drawing). For WC panels, leave 50mm for fixing a cubicle partition (see "Panel to cubicle partition" drawing). Plain Panel Packs P3 and P4 can be cut down and re-edged on site to cater for ranges that do not accommodate 800mm modules. 3 For each panel you will need: one flash gap pack. Cubicle Selection 1 For each set of cubicles identify which of the four layouts right, suits your project then refer to the grid beneath it. 2 Read across the top row of the grid until you reach the number of cubicles required. 3 Read down the column under the number of cubicles to identify the pack and quantities you require.
