2 Introduction:- Jawhar is extremely poor & Tribal Block. Although this is globalization situation the rural area remains backward. The people are far from modern technique and away from education. The main occupation of the Tribal is farming. The farming is only depending upon rainy season. The fertility of land is very poor. Rich rain gain well production in land otherwise obtain very low income.90% Tribal having less land. They produce Nachani, Varai and Rice in their land. All year they working hard in their land and produces one time income. So the tribals income level is very low. They survive with their daily need from theirs low income. Hence they migrate for earning more income toward urban area. They work on brisk kiln, drainage excavation, building construction & industrial construction or in labour contract. It raises many problems to their child & women. The National Rural Research and Development Association are working in this area to solve the problem which faces by tribal from the last 8 years. A NARAD activity mainly focuses on child education, water & sanitation, to barrier migration, women Empowerment. It includes Jalswarajya Project, Balawadi Centers, Rain harvesting Project, Acceleration of Universal Salt Iodization and Child Survival in Maharashtra Project and Tree Plantation Project. The National Rural Research and Development Association were undertaking a Tree project. The main goal was the project to bring west land of tribal under and stopping a migration to providing guidance how to take more income from west land. NARAD raised a of mixed tree Nursery at Vadoli. It distributed among 11 farmers in July The Project supported by Vodafone India and Give India.

3 Nursery Set-up:- The National Rural Research and Development Association selected experienced and skilled worker for preparation of nursery. The proposed Nursery was but we extended it up to by farmers demand. For this we take 1 guntha land on lease from the farmer of Vadoli village, Jawhar Tahsil. Water source also was available near this land for nursery setup. We have begun nursery setup from Feb Appointed 4 workers on daily wages. The worker filled up Polythene bag with soil. The high quality seed was purchased from seed seller. Watering Time was of Nursery: - Twice a day Morning & Evening

4 Place of Nursery: - Village Vadoli, Tal.Jawhar, Dist.Thane.Village Vadoli is a 13 k.m. away from the head office of National Rural Research and Development Association. Why selected the Vadoli Village for Nursery Setup:- All beneficiaries were selected from nearby this village. Hence NARAD selected the village Vadoli for nursery setup Farmers Training:- On 30 May 2012 the farmers training was organized at Narad Office Jawhar. There were 11 beneficiaries participated from Malghar, Dharampur, Khirari pada and Pathardi village. All NARAD s staff was also participated. Mr. Ravindra Vishe, Officer, BIAF were attended as technical trainer. Mr. Vishe delivers information about the project in two steps 1) Theory 2) practical. In practical session Mr.Vishe shows how to prepare and fill up the pits with soil & manure. He also trained to participant how to sapling in pits. 6 Nursery Visit and Practical: - All farmers were presented while nursery visit and practical. Mr.Vishe given proper guidance to farmer. All farmers excited to see the nursery. Mr. Vishe show practical how to pluck up the from nursery and he plucked out one from nursery. After that he show how to dig 1 X 1 Pit and dug up one pit and fill up with Biomanure and pour some water. After practical of. Mr. Vishe says to farmer about Plantation. He says the assist to keep environment balance why ozone decreased and why we are facing water scarcity problem such He given several example and aware them about importance of tree. Not only Karanj, Amala keep environment balance. Karanj Stop erosion of surface. In India having hector lands is west land. If such land we bring under this then we can generate more income on local level. And our living of standard will be uplifted.if Karanj will ed in well fertile land it give many fruits. The age of this tree is 70 to 150 year. karanj gives us Rs income per year per hector. The rate of Karnj seed is Rs.6 to 10 per Kg. as per current marketing rate. We can remove our poverty and stop migration by this. Pits Digging: - After farmers training each farmer to take work of pits digging in their waste land under supervision of NARAD workers. All farmer dug pits before. Plantation: - We were keep target to raise in nursery. Also the result of nursery given well. The worker took hard task to raise high quality nursery.and it successfully raised good nursery. The grew up 3 ft in July Plants from nursery separated in 12 July 2012 and distributed among 11 farmers. The distribution of was started in July 12 and Distribution completed in a
