What is Mobaro? Mobaro, meaning mobile barometer, is your digital business barometer that provides real-time feedback, information and insights on all aspects of your company operations. Mobaro Retail is dedicated to consumer-facing brands enabling businesses with multiple locations to deliver operational excellence and achieve a consistent customer experience throughout the chain. Originally co-created with a number of Scandinavia s leading international retailers, Mobaro has now become an indispensable business tool for customer-centric organisations.

How can it add value to a retail business? 1. Confidence Mobaro gives head office teams confidence that standard operating practices, planograms, promotions, and merchandising instructions have not only been communicated to all branches of the chain but that they are also being correctly implemented. It allows area managers visibility of all activities in their patch and it ensures store teams can feedback to HQ, for instance confirming compliance, requesting support and identifying barriers. 2. Communication The system empowers stores by putting a genuine and efficient two-way communication tool in their hands. Store staff are no longer left wondering if issues are being addressed or if actions are being completed Mobaro gives stores complete visibility as to the status of actions that ultimately enable them to do their job better. 3. Less time wasted Gone are the days of being tied up making phone calls, chasing up on s or trying to find the right person to help with an issue. For area managers, often acting as the conduit between stores and head office, this is a big relief. All the headaches and firefighting and being stuck in the middle can be a thing of the past. Instead of spending hours chasing up on neglected tasks, time can be so much better spent on what really matters for instance supporting staff with coaching and training that in turn enables them to give an even better customer experience. 4. Certainty For all users, Mobaro removes ambiguity and uncertainty on the status of key tasks. It provides an easy to use, transparent and efficient platform that supports teams in getting the job done without the obstacles of geographical barriers.

5. Improved customer experience Mobaro takes away a lot of the noise that store staff typically have to deal with. Staff have more time to spend on doing what they do best - meaning customers get a better in-store experience that leads to increased sales, profitability and long-term customer loyalty. 6. Flexibility The Mobaro system is flexible and can be adapted to support numerous operational activities. Store staff can complete all their daily tasks and checklists on the go, not tied up in an office. Operations management can quickly identify where their help is needed, and deliver accordingly. Compliance to legal, risk, H&S and HR processes can also be ensured. If there s a list of tasks that need to be done, daily, weekly or ad-hoc, then Mobaro has got it covered! reports Realtime dashboards Geo tracking Manuals Media Offline mode Checklists Task management 7. Performance insights Mobaro gives you measurable insights into key operational KPIs that have a direct bearing on your sales and profitability. Imagine how much is invested in a major promotional campaign design, artwork, possibly advertising spend, yet few retailers know what level of store compliance is achieved throughout the chain. Did the promotion fail to meet expectations? Was the ROI less than hoped? Could it be because the promotion was ineffective, or, were there other issues? Mobaro allows you to answer these questions, prevent issues, remove barriers while gaining insights most retailers simply don t have to hand. 8. Evidence of actions Mobaro also supports your buyers when negotiating trade promotions. Gone are debates over exactly how many stores have implemented the activities. No longer will supplier-side field sales reps take a snapshot view of a few stores and jump to conclusions that ultimately affect your margins! With photographic evidence of all promotional installations the risk of losing supplier funding is reduced.

How does it work?! HQ By combining a mobile app for store users with web interface dashboards for HQ and management, Mobaro enables your teams to communicate efficiently, on the go. With the app, stores can have all their relevant checklists and supporting documentation right in their pocket, meaning more time on the shop floor and less time shuffling paper in an admin office. The dashboards enable management to explore key KPIs on their laptop or tablet whilst on the road, and, additionally automatic notifications draw attention to ongoing actions or issues demanding resolution. Easy to use cloud solution With nothing more than a mobile ios or Android device, completed checks are uploaded automatically whenever you are online with the results visible within seconds. The Mobaro system operates wholly on the cloud, is quick to set up and is offered on a SaaS (software as a service) basis. This means you get a low monthly usage fee and everything you need is included.

What Mobaro Retail includes The basis of the system is intelligent digital checklists. Presented to users in an easy to use format, digital checklists can do so much more than pen and paper! For instance, answers to specific questions can trigger which questions should follow, check points can be brought to life by adding reference material e.g. images, setup guidelines, supporting documentation etc.. Feedback from stores can also be illustrated with text, annotated images, audio, and video. Proactive management tool Management can be alerted to any barriers to completion of tasks on a checklist, with requests for support being assigned to the relevant department directly from within the checklist. Checklists can also be timed to appear at a user s device whenever appropriate, so no one forgets what needs to be done and nothing gets overlooked. Our checklists are completely flexible, designed and developed for each client specifically.

Dashboards and reporting All data from completed checklists is aggregated and appears, in real-time, on your dashboards, which can be customised to present the results as KPIs / indicators that give different user groups the insight on operational activities that they need. An image gallery provides you with a holistic view of the promotional activities across all stores in one place. Imagine trying to get that snap shot view using and image attachments it would be almost impossible! When necessary, management users can drill right into individual check points from each store s checklists directly from their dashboard. A bird s eye view Information and results do not disappear into a filing cabinet somewhere or get lost in 1000s of s in your inbox. The dashboards and reports give real-time access to all the data and information you need regarding store activities all in one place accessible from anywhere. With all tasks visible, and with R-A-G statuses to draw attention areas where action is needed, your dashboard becomes a crucial tool. Reports can be generated so that root-causes and common issues can be identified and investigated, meaning that you can improve processes for the future and prevent issues from reoccurring. Feedback can be automatically relayed to defined groups within the system so that users only see what is relevant to them. No one is overwhelmed with information not relevant to their role or area of responsibility.

What about the techie stuff? Mobaro delivers a secure cloud based system that does not require any integration with other IT systems and is accessible anywhere with an internet connection. Store users can access relevant checklists via a mobile device. Management is able to log in to see relevant reports and dashboards from any browser - their log in credentials determines what data is presented to them. Implementation and training Setup is simple. Your users and locations are uploaded into our database. In a trial environment our team builds all your digital checklists for you. If you go ahead with a full roll out then part of the implementation process ensures that a number of your employees, so-called superusers, are fully trained and certified in creating, editing and publishing checklists to stores. Usually superusers are up and running and certified to manage the system within one day of training. Mobaro is an easy-to-use and easy to configure system. It is completely flexible, so whatever processes you want to support with checklists can be quickly created by your superusers. Whilst our client support team is always on hand to help, your superusers also get full control of all your configuration and don t have to wait for our consultants / developers to make any changes for you.

Why contact us? The UK high street has gone through major changes in the last few years. Consumers are more demanding and knowledgeable than ever before. To compete with low cost online competition retailers must offer something more. Stores can enable that, but with pressure on margins due to spiralling costs (increases in minimum wage, utilities, rent, rates etc.) it is essential that operations are as slick as possible. Investing in extra hours to put more staff on the shop floor is undesirable, the only way to increase interaction between staff and customers is to ensure that less time is spent on admin, away from the shop floor, chasing up niggly issues. Unique benefits Mobaro will help to save those hours. We will help take away the noise that distracts staff from doing what they do best selling to customers. We will free up area managers so that they can dedicate more time to supporting stores in being the best they can be. We will free up head office staff, from handling 100s of inbound store calls and s to being better able to support the frontline operations. If that wasn t enough we ll give you insights that mean you are never left wondering if a promotional activity, campaign or VM instruction has been implemented in all your stores. For most high street retailers, running Mobaro only costs the equivalent per location of 1 hour per week of staff costs. To see how Mobaro works in your business we could be up and running with a trial environment for you within a fortnight. So, contact Clare Rayner who head s up our UK business via clr@mobaro.com or phone , and we will be delighted to book a meeting with you to discuss your requirements further clr@mobaro.com
