3 1. INTENT Provide monthly updates of environmental performance and assess compliance against specific consent conditions. To keep the company and stakeholders informed of the mine s environmental performance and maintain a transparent and accountable reporting system to inform all relevant stakeholders. 2. SCOPE This report covers various environmental conditions that are monitored at Integra Underground. These conditions, where applicable, are measured against consent criteria to determine compliance. Including; Water monitoring; Noise monitoring (quarterly); Air quality monitoring; and Environmental conditions over the month. 3. DEFINITIONS TSP Total Suspended Particles PM 10 Particulate Matter less than 10 microns in diameter HVAS High Volume Air Sampler SWL Standing Water Level, the groundwater level measured from the top of the piezometer casing. 4. 4 5. PROCEDURE REQUIREMENTS 5.1 Air Quality Monitoring The following Tables summarise the monthly air quality monitoring conducted on behalf of Integra Coal Underground. Contamination can include bird droppings, vegetation (such as plant matter, algae, pollen & seeds) and insects. 5.2 Noise Monitoring Quarter 1 attended noise monitoring was conducted during February and March 2012 at six monitoring locations over six nights. All consent limits were complied with at all monitoring locations during quarter Water Monitoring Table 4 summarises the water quality monitoring conducted on behalf of Integra Coal Underground.
