Project MS1450 Lake Victoria Mining 1.0 BACKGROUND Met-Solve Laboratories Inc. was contracted by Lake Victoria Mining to conduct gravity concentration, flotation and cyanide leach test work on an ore sample from Tanzania, Africa. Two buckets of sample, ~20 kg of coarse crushed and ~15 kg of fine crushed rocks were received from Lake Victoria Mining on February 21 st, 2013 for testing. The primary objectives of this test program were to: a) Determine the amount of gravity recoverable gold (GRG) content present b) Determine the overall gold recovery from a gravity + flotation process using two different flotation reagent schemes c) Determine the overall gold recovery from a cyanide bottle-leach test as follows: i. 1.0 g/l CN for a duration of 48 hours on gravity tails ii g/l CN for a duration of 24 hours on flotation concentrate (1 st reagent scheme) iii g/l CN for a duration of 24 hours on flotation concentrate (2 nd reagent scheme) 1

Project MS1450 Lake Victoria Mining 2.0 TEST PROCEDURES Descriptions of the metallurgical tests completed are presented below. Test # NS102 NS103 NS104 NS201 NS202 NS203 Description Gravity (3-Stages) Flotation on Gravity Tails (1 st Reagent Scheme) Flotation on Gravity Tails (2 nd Reagent Scheme) Cyanide Leach on Gravity Tails Cyanide Leach on NS103 Float Concentrate Cyanide Leach on NS104 Float Concentrate The Lake Victoria sample was subject to the following preparation and test procedures: 1. Crushing and rotary splitting of the received sample 2. A 3-Stage, 10 kg, GRG test using a laboratory scale Falcon L40 centrifugal concentrator, at a final grind of 71 microns (P 80 ) 3. Two ~4 kg flotation test on gravity tails 4. Cyanide leach test on gravity tails 5. Cyanide leach test on each flotation concentrate 2

Project MS1450 Lake Victoria Mining 3.0 RESULTS AND DISCUSSION The individual test summaries and detailed mass balances are organized in the Appendices according to the order presented in Table I. Table I: Appendix List Appendix Content Test # A Overall Flow Sheet - Recovery Summary NS102 - NS203 B Gravity Concentration NS102 C Flotation on Gravity Tails NS103 - NS104 D Cyanide Leach NS201 - NS203 E Assay Summary The Lake Victoria sample had an assayed head grade of 9.80 g/t gold and a calculated head grade of 9.44 g/t gold (back-calculated from the gravity test work). 3

Project MS1450 Lake Victoria Mining 3.1 GRAVITY CONCENTRATION A 10 kg representative sub-sample was screened at 1,295 microns prior to gravity concentration test work. The undersize was processed through the Falcon L40 three times with grinding applied after the first and second stages respectfully. After each stage, the concentrates were panned to examine the upgradeability of the material. The gravity tails were subject to a cyanide leach test (NS201) and two flotation tests (NS103 and NS104). The flow sheet of the gravity test work is presented in Figure 1. Figure 1: Flow Sheet Diagram for Gravity Test Work Feed µm Grind 8 min to 295µm Grind 36 min to 71 µm Pan Tail 1 L40 Tails Pan Con 1 Pan Tail 2 Pan Con 2 Pan Tail 3 Pan Con 3 The gravity results are presented in Table II below. Higher grade in the 3 rd liberating the gold. pass indicates that finer grinding appears to be important for 4

Project MS1450 Lake Victoria Mining 3.2 FLOTATION ON GRAVITY TAILS Two flotation tests (Test NS103 and NS104) were done on the gravity tails using copper sulfate (CuSO 4 ), potassium amyl xanthate (PAX) and MIBC to determine the overall recovery from a combined gravity and flotation process. Sodium silicate (Na 2 SiO 3 ) was used in one of the tests (NS104) to aid the dispersion of clay particles during flotation. The results of the flotation tests are presented in Table III and Table IV. Table III: Test NS103 Flotation Recovery on Gravity Tails Products Weight Assay (g/t) Distribution (%) (g) (%) Au Ag S (%) Au Ag S Total Flotation Con * Tails 3, < Calculated Head 3, NS102 Gravity Tails *Back-calculated assay grade from cyanidation (Insufficient sample for assay) Table IV: Test NS104 Flotation Recovery on Gravity Tails (Includes Na 2 SiO 3 ) Products Weight Assay (g/t) Distribution (%) (g) (%) Au Ag S (%) Au Ag S Total Flotation Con Tails 3, < Calculated Head 3, NS102 Gravity Tails Flotation of the gravity tails generated recoveries 59.5% and 61.5% of the remaining gold. Adding sodium silicate did not show any change in overall gold recovery. Although the float test was done in stages, the flotation concentrate was collected in bulk rather than in individual stages since the concentrate was required for cyanide leach test work. A small sub-sample of the bulk concentrate was assayed and the remainder was used for the intensive cyanide leach tests (NS202 and NS203). 5

Project MS1450 Lake Victoria Mining 3.3 CYANIDE LEACH Flotation concentrates from Test NS103 and Test NS104 as well as a sub-sample of the gravity tails from Test NS102 was subject to cyanide leach tests. The cyanide leach test on the gravity tails (Test NS201) was leached with a 1.0 g/l NaCN solution for a duration of 48 hours. Sub-samples of the leach solution were taken at 1, 6 and 24 hours. The intensive cyanide leach test on the flotation concentrates (Test NS202 and NS203) was leached with a 1.0 g/l NaCN solution for a duration of 48 hours. Sub-samples of the leach solution were taken at 1, 6 and 24 hours. For all the tests, lime was added as a10% slurry to maintain a ph above The results from the cyanide leach tests are presented below in Table V Table VII. 9 Project MS1450 Lake Victoria Mining Cyanide leaching achieved 88.5% gold recovery from the gravity tailings (Test NS201) and recovered most of the gold within 24 hours. The leach residue gold grades assayed at 0.46 g/t. Cyanide leaching on the flotation concentrates achieved excellent gold recoveries of 94.7% and 94.2%. Most of the gold was recovered within 3 hours. Note that cyanide leaching on the flotation concentrates contained high gold grades (> 4.0 g/t) in the leach residue. A summary of the cyanide consumption is presented below. Test NaCN Conc.
