This ensures the interest and motivation of the prospective student is maintained. LPCAT (Learning Potential Computerised Adaptive Test) The LPCAT is a dynamic (test-train-retest) instrument for the measurement of learning potential. 2 Typing Test *On screen administration only Additional add-on to measure typing skills. CTB (Clerical The clerical test battery comprises of a number of subtests relevant to general clerical and administrative work. These include Verbal, Numerical ability, Clerical Checking and spelling. Test items take the form of scenarios with either verbal or numerical content. For the verbal test, respondents must judge the truth of deductions made from the paragraph contents, and for the numerical tests, they need to answer multiple choice questions based on the scenario and supplied figures. The scenarios are all relevant to the business world, which makes this test particularly suitable for occupational selection. The difficulty level is suitable for graduates and persons with some experience in a managerial role. GRT1 (Graduate The Graduate Test Battery is intended for selection of persons for specialised positions that are particularly intellectually demanding and demand high level training and education. As with the General Test Battery, it assesses Verbal, Numerical and Abstract, but at a considerably higher level of difficulty. GRT2 (Graduate The General Test Battery assesses three domains of ability that are relevant to work and study: Verbal, Numerical and Abstract. Of these, Abstract reasoning is the least affected by education and cultural background. MRT2 (Mechanical Test) The MRT2 helps identify people who are likely to grasp and apply technical concepts. It is particularly useful for selecting candidates for initial technical training. SRT2 (Spatial Test) The Spatial Test (SRT2) measures the ability to visualise, manipulate and reason with shapes and spatial relationships. Spatial reasoning ability is found to be an important factor in a number of technical occupations such as mechanical engineering, design, architecture, etc. VAC2 (Visual Acuity Test) *On screen administration only VAC2 has been specifically designed for on-screen and measures the ability to work with highly detailed technical material such as wiring or circuit diagrams.
