2 4.FIRE & EXPLOSION HAZARD DATA FLASH POINT : LOWER(LEL): FLAMMABLE LIMITS IN AIR(%) : UPPER(UEL): EXTINGUISHING MEDIA : Use water, foam or dry powder, as appropriate. AUTO-IGNITION : SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES : As with any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus to avoid inhalation of hazardous decomposition products SPECIAL FIREEXPLOSION HAZARDS : Like any sealed container, battery cells may rupture when exposed to excessive heat; this could result in the flamable or corrosive materials. 5.HEALTH HARZARD DATA THRESHOLD LIMIT VALUE(TLY) AND SOURCE: EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: None EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES Skin and Eyes : In the event that battery ruptures, flush with copious quantities of water. Get immediate medical attention for eyes. Wash skin with soap and water. Swallowing : Ingestion of a battery can be harmful. 6.REACTIVITY DATA STABLE OR UNSTABLE : Stable INCOMPATIBILITY(MATERIALS TO AVOID) : HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS : HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION : May Occur Will not Occur: X. CONDITION TO AVOID : Avoid Electrical Shorting

3 7.SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES PROCEDURE TO CONTAIN AND CLEAN UP LEAKS OR SPILLS: In the event of a battery rupture, collect all released material in a plastic lined metal container. REPORTING PEOCEDURE : Report all spills in accordance with Federal, State and Local reporting requirements. WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD : Whenshredded per Toxicity characteristics Leachate Procedure(TCLP) Parameters and tested per SW rd Edition, Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste, independent certified laboratory analyses have indicatet these RAM Battery types to have no hazardous waste characteristics(per 40CFR, Part ) and can be land-filled if all other Federal, State and Local regulations are complied with. 8.PROTECTION INFORMATON RESPIRATORY PROTECTION (SPECIFY TYPE) VENTILATION: Local Exhaust : Mechanical(General) Special : Other: PROTECTIVE GLOVES : EYE PROTECTION : OTHER PROTECTIVE CLOTHING 9.SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS HANDLING AND STORAGE: Store in a dry place. Storing unpacked cells together could result in cell shorting and heat build-up. TRANSPORTATION-SHIPPING : These are Battery, dry and are not considered to be a hazardous material per U.S. DOT (Dept. Of Transportation Reglations) or a dangerous goods per LATA(International Air Transportation Association Regulations). Notice : The information and recommendations set forth are made on good faith and are believed to be accurate at the data of preparation.
