With this business functin, yu can use the ILM Archiving Wrk Center t archive data and t mnitr the status f yur archiving steps and the ILM Reprting Wrk Center t analyze data fr archiving and run a reprt t view the savings n archived data. 5 DA_COCKPIT_ILM: ILM Archiving Wrk Center (New) Use As f SAP NetWeaver 7.40 SP04 (SAP_BASIS), yu can use the ILM Archiving Wrk Center t archive data and t mnitr the status f yur archiving steps. With the ILM Archiving Wrk Center, a web-based and easy-t-use user interface that replaces the previus Data Archiving transactin SARA fr mst f its features is available. Data archiving experts can still use the transactin SARA. In the ILM Archiving Wrk Center, the fllwing functins are available: Persnal Object Wrklist: Create active requests fr archiving bjects relevant t yur wrk Data archiving: Execute the actins Write Data, Delete Data, Stre Archiving Data and - depending n the archiving bject - Start Preprcessing and Start Pstprcessing Administratin: Mnitr the status f all existing archiving sessins and quickly determine why jbs were terminated with the jb verview and the applicatin lg Effects n Existing Data Data Archiving via transactin SARA is still available. It can still be used fr archiving activities, especially fr archiving experts and fr all Custmizing settings fr data archiving. Effects n Custmizing Yu make the Custmizing settings fr data archiving in the Archive Administratin (transactin SARA). In the menu, chse Custmizing and then chse the respective menu entry. Yu can perfrm the fllwing tasks in the Reprting Wrk Center: Analyze data fr tables (table cntent including the table index) t determine the tp N list f tables based n their size r grwth. Analyze data fr archiving bjects including the relevant tables t determine the tp N list f archiving bjects based n their size r grwth.
