About About Product: Author Netbase Team Visit us Magento Shop By Brand Extension Changelog Click to view Video Service Forum License OSL-3.0 It is easy for your customers as well as your shop if customers give their purchasing decision through the brand they love. With Shop By Brand Extension for Magento 2, admin can create a custom brand page that displays a list of brands and by clicking on any brands, your customer will view brand information and all products belong to this brand. 2

4 System Requirements: * Operating System: - Linux as RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, v..v - Composer (Lastest version) - Apache 2.2 or > Apache PHP 5.6.x ; 5.5.x - where x is 22 or greater; 7.0.2, up to but not including 7.1, except for * PHP extensions requirement: - PDO/MySQL - Mbstring - Mcrypt - Mhash - Simplexml - Curl - gd2, ImageMagick (or later) or both - Soap * My SQL: - MySQL 5.6.x - Mail Transfer Agent (MTA) or SMTP server 2. 5 Coppy folder into your root magento folder Step 3: Upgrade Go to your root magento folder -> bin by Commandline From command window, you write: php magento setup:upgrade Step 4: Deloy Go to your root magento folder -> bin by Commandline From command window, you write: php magento setup:staticcontent:deploy Step 5: Clean cache In admin panel, go to System -> Cache Management 4

6 In Mass Action, choose Select All -> Click on button 3. How to use this extension? Configuration in back-end In admin panel, click on SHOP BY BRAND -> Settings 5

8 General Settings Enabled Module On Fontend: Turn on/ Turn off module. 7

9 Remebering after each change. List Page Settings Page Title: fill in title of the brand list page. Show Brand Name: allow to display brand name in the brand list page. Show Product Count: allow to display product number of each brand in brand list page. Show Featured Brands: allow to display featured brands in the brand list page. 8

10 Logo Thumbnail Width: fill in width of logo thumbnail in the brand list page. Logo Thumbnail Height: fill in height of logo thumbnail in the brand list page. Remebering after each change. Product Page Settings Show Brand: allow to display image of brand. Show Related Products By Brand: allow to show related products by brand in the product page. Maximum Number of Related Products By Brand: fill in maximum number of related products by brand that you want to display in product page. Show Brand Name: allow to display brand name in the product page. Show Product Count: allow to display product number of each brand in the product page. Remebering after each change. 9

11 Sidebar Setting Enabled: enable/disable display of featured brand on sidebar. Show Brand Name: allow to display brand name of featured brands on sidebar. Show Product Count: allow to display product number of each brand on sidebar. Maximum Number of Brands: fill in maximum number of brand that display on sidebar. Remebering after each change. Add New Brand Step 1: In admin panel, go to Shop By Brand -> Manage Brands -> Add New Brand 10

14 + Brand Title: fill in title of brand. + Status : enable if you want to display this brand in frontend, disable if you don t want to display this brand in frontend. + Store View: select store view of your website. + Description : fill in information of this brand. + Meta Keywords: fill in keywords for this brand. It will boost SEO for your website. + Meta Description: fill in descrription for this brand. It will boost SEO for your website. + Is Featured Brand: select Yes if you want this brand is a featured brand. - In Tab Select Products : 13

15 + Select products that belong to this brand. Step 3: Remembering after creating post. Delete and Change Status of Brand Step 1: In admin panel, go to Shop By Brand -> Manage Brands -> tick to select brands you want to delete or change status. Step 2: In Action, you select action you want to implement for this brands 14
