A dislocated worker is defined as: An individual who has been separated from his or her place of employment through no fault of his or her own (lay-off, plant closing) Is unlikely to return to the occupation or the workforce without additional training or assistance A U.S. citizen A resident of the state of Minnesota Job Seeker Resources Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) ISEEK website Minnesota Workforce Centers 3
