3 KUSADASI - EPHESUS - HOUSE OF VIRGIN MARY - BASILICA OF ST. JOHN (5 HOURS) Cross the colourful city of Kusadasi to Mt. Koressos. Here you can visit the modest chapel on the site of this house in which the Virgin Mary is believed to have survived and spent her last days after the Crucifixion. In Ephesus, you will find countless temples such as the Forum, the Odeon, the Celsus Library, the Scolastika's Thermal Baths and the Grand Antique Theater. Go back to the Arcadian Way to your coach, where Mark Antony and Cleopatra once rode. When you drive back to Kusadasi, you visit the St. John Basilica, which Emperor Justinian built over his tomb in the sixth century AD. See the other columns and mosaics.
