11 Code of Safe Practices T (b) and (c) (b) Every employer shall adopt a written Code of Safe Practices which relates to the employer's operations. The Code shall contain language equivalent to the relevant parts of Plate A-3 of the Appendix. (c) The Code of Safe Practices shall be posted at a conspicuous location at each job site office or be provided to each supervisory employee who shall have it readily available.
12 Toilets & Sanitation T (a) A minimum of one separate toilet facility shall be provided for each 20 employees or fraction thereof of each sex. Such facilities may include both toilets and urinals provided that the number of toilets shall not be less than one half of the minimum required number of facilities. Maintained Clean & in good working order.
13 Washing Facilities T A minimum of one washing station shall be provided for each twenty employees or fraction thereof. Clean and sanitary condition. Adequate supply of water for effective washing; Readily available supply of soap or other suitable cleansing agent. Readily available supply of singleuse towels or a warm-air blower. Located and arranged so that any time a toilet is used, the user can readily wash. Provide a sign or equivalent method of notice indicating that the water is intended for washing. Located outside of the toilet facility and not attached to it.
14 Drinking Water T & 3395 An adequate supply of potable water shall be provided in all places of employment single-service cups (to be used but once) shall be supplied shall be provided in sufficient quantity at the beginning of the work shift to provide one quart per employee per hour for drinking for the entire shift
15 Emergency Medical Services Each employer is responsible to ensure the availability of emergency medical services for its employees. Each employer shall ensure the availability of a suitable number of appropriately trained persons to render first aid. Every employer working on or furnishing personnel on a construction project, on line crews and on other short duration or transient jobs shall provide at least one first-aid kit in a weatherproof container. *See list in Section 1512 T8-1512

19 Scaffolding T When the scaffold or outrigger is resting on earth or soft material, the base plate shall rest on and be secured to the equivalent of a 2-inch by 10- inch by 10-inch wooden base. Ties shall be required at the free ends of the scaffold when the height of the scaffold platform exceeds 3 times the least base dimension
20 Scaffolding Tied to the building at intervals not to exceed 30 feet horizontally. Ties for subsequent levels shall be installed at 26-foot intervals vertically. Safe Access provided.
21 Securely attached railings shall be installed on open sides and ends of work platforms 7 1/2 feet or more above grade. The top rail shall be located at a height of not less than 42 inches nor more than 45 inches measured from the upper surface of the top rail to the platform level.
