1 Husqvarna Group Materials List 2008 Note! The RML together with local and national legislation is the minimum requirement for the Husqvarna Group. Aim and purpose with this list According to a decision by the Husqvarna Group Management, restrictions have been introduced with respect to the use of certain chemical substances. This standard lists those chemical substances which must not be included in Husqvarna s, semi-finished, parts, materials, preparation and packaging, in unreacted form The Husqvarna RML council initiates the updating of the standard and the document is a part of Husqvarna Group environmental management system and also a part of Husqvarna s aim for producing environmently friendly, secure application as well as innoxious sewage and refuse disposal considering the current legal regulations Please note that this standard is only a Husqvarna standard and compliance with this list does not give any guarantees that legal requirements concerning hazardous chemical substances are in accordance with all local legal requirements Products containing one or more of the chemicals listed as banned must not be put into use. Phase-Out plans with final date of use are required in case they are not fully phased out. Ban of a chemical does not apply when a chemical substance occurs in the form of impurities in a specific product, provided that, non-desired occurrrence is very low must be withold independently of requirements in local governmental directives and area of application. In cases where an exemption is listed the exemptions are only valid for the specified deliberate application Even though a substance might be classified as banned or restricted according to this Husqvarna standard, local law or other legal requirments might state regulations that are more or less restricted In case of more restricted regulations according to law, such restrictions shall be followed and similar, in case of less restrictions, Husqvarna's standard shall apply Thresholds must be kept no matter from wich basis they come.
