To ensure smooth handling of exhibits, please read carefully all points of these guidelines. Failure to comply with any of these points is likely to create problems and additional expenses. FUMIGATION REQUIREMENTS IN CHINA (1) Wood Packing Materials - with effective from 1 January 2006, ALL CARGO WITH WOOD PACKING MATERIAL (WPM) to China (such as wood block cases, lath cases, wood pallets, wood frames, wood drums, wood axes, chocks, stow-wood, crossties and so on), fumigation must be arranged in the country of origin before sending the cargo to China. To ensure the WPM is properly treated either by Heat Treatment (HT) or Methyl Bromide (MB), following information MUST be marked or stamped on the outside packing as the below sample: IPPC Logo ( ) ISO country code (XX) Unique number assigned to the company (which carries out the fumigation procedure) by the national plant protection organization (000) Fumigation method either HT -Heat Treatment or MB - Methyl Bromide (YY) 2) Non Wood Packing Material Non Wood Packing Material Declaration (issued by Exhibitor on letter-head and stamped) is needed. All originals of the (1) Fumigation/ heat treatment certificate and/or (2) Non Wood Packing Material Declaration, that is issued by the relevant authority in the country of origin MUST be attached to the original Master Airway Bill or courier to our office in Hong Kong for Customs clearance purpose. 3

6 pier/airport terminal or in Schenker warehouse for return cargo (in excess of 7 days free storage); also EXCLUDE are duty/tax, if any. 4. For single exhibitor chartering 1x20' or 1x40' on its own, minimum for 20' container is 23 cbm, 40' container is 46 cbm. In additional, return of empty container to depot is USD 250/20, USD 350/ Cargo arrived earlier than specified, all storage dues will be on client's account. Storage fee : - LCL : USD 3/cbm/day - FCL : USD 50/20 /day - FCL : USD 70/40 /day - Air-cargoes : USd 0,1/kg/day 6. Cargo arrived beyond deadline, a 30% surcharge on late delivery will be added. 7. All freight charges must be settled latest before Fair Open Date, otherwise a 2.5% OUTLAY COMMISSION will be added for unpaid invoice beyond Fair Open Date. 8. Above rates are based on GENERAL CARGOES (packed) only. Specialised cargoes which need hiring of floating cranes, lighters,... etc. additional charges will be levied in accordance actual outlay. 9. No unpacked cargo are accepted. Schenker holds no liability for possible damage for items that are not properly packed. 10. Dangerous cargoes (if accepted) will carry 100% surcharges plus possible additional carrier charter fee. x...x...x...x...x...x...x - All Inbound/Return Charges need to be paid in full against release /collection of cargoes. - All Exhibitors are requested to have their exhibits fully covered insurance for the whole in/return journey, include Exhibition Period. 6. BASIS OF CONTRACT: Since all contracts contain the fine print, we would like to point out the most important aspects as follows: We operate exclusively in accordance with the Allgemeine Deutsche Spediteurbedingungen ADSp (German Freight Forwarders' General Terms and Conditions 2017) and - if they do not apply for performing logistics services - with the Logistic-AGB (General Terms and Conditions of Logistics-Services Providers), as of March Note: In clause 23 the ADSp 2017 deviates from the statutory liability limitation in section 431 German Commercial Code (HGB) by limiting the liability for multimodal transportation with the involvement of sea carriage and an unknown damage location to 2 SDR/kg and, for the rest, the customary liability limitation of 8,33 SDR/kg additionally to Euro 1,25 million per damage claim and EUR 2,5 million per damage event, but not less than 2 SDR/kg. Place of jurisdiction: Berlin We would like to advise that it is the responsibility of each exhibitor to arrange a transport insurance covering transport to the exhibition, time during the exhibition and the return transport. Ask our branch office in your country or our Berlin office for assistance. An on-site handling insurance policy is provided automatically. The liability of the forwarding agent ends upon unloading of the goods at the exhibitor s stand, even if the exhibitor or his representative is not yet in attendance. Delivery is made from the first official assembly day at the designated exhibition stands. In case of return transportation, liability on the part of the forwarding agent does not take effect prior to collection from the stand, even if the transport documents are previously deposited at the office of the forwarding agent. Furthermore all work is undertaken at owners risk. The exhibitors are liable for damages and additional cost resulting from the incorrect declaration of the weights and measurements of the packages, as well as the description of the content mentioned on the invoice / packing list. Mode of Payment All invoices for this exhibition are due immediately without deduction. We will be happy to provide you with our bank details on request. Alternatively you can provide us with your credit card for payment. We accept MasterCard and VISA credit cards. We hope that you will be more than content with our service.
