Strategy Description Dusk-to-Dawn Lights turn on or off based on pre-set sensing of ambient light conditions. Part Night Remotely schedule on/off/dim times to shorten burn cycle and put the right amount of light in an area only at times it is needed. Bi-Level Dimming Allows the luminaire to be controlled by a separate line voltage current, enabling the fixture to be dimmed from a remote location. Trimming Remotely adjusts schedules for on/off/dim times cased on offsets from official sunrise and sunset. Shortens the time lights are on without impacting public safety or lighting performance. Monitoring & Diagnostics Monitor lighting performance and optimize maintenance by repairing fixtures at the first sign of malfunction. 10 8 Business Parks - Visitor/Employee Parking Part-Night Additional Solution Components Motion Sensor When paired with a motion sensor override, the luminaire goes to full brightness when someone enters the area. Occupancy detection is only activated during the scheduled nighttime operation. D-Series Area The D-Series area luminaire (DSX) combines the latest in LED technology with a high-performance, high efficacy, long-life luminaire. The outstanding photometric performance results in sites with excellent uniformity, greater pole spacing and lower power density. Part-Night Device Part-Night scheduled dimming provides significant energy savings by automatically dimming the luminaire during early morning hours when infrequent use is expected. This integrated option does not require additional wiring or circuity, making it ideal for retrofit applications

12 10 Business Parks - Building Façade Blue Box LT Additional Solution Components Photocontrol A standalone photocontrol, such as the SBO 10 OEX P from Sensor Switch, can be building mounted to provide standard or override control, ensuring that lights remain on when daylight is insufficient. All signage, site and outdoor lights can operate off of the same photocell when combined with Blue Box. 16 14 Campus - University ROAM Additional Solution Components Nodes Standard ROAM REN127 DV1 ROAM wireless nodes provide dimming and monitoring of outdoor LED luminaires to drive energy savings and asset management. Gateway ROAM Cellular Gateway (REG127 WX5) The ROAM wireless gateway communicates between the Network Operations Center (NOC) and up to 2,000 ROAM wireless nodes. D-Series Family Whether it is performance, long life, energy savings, or aesthetics, the D-series family of LED luminaires delivers better lighting from every angle. Monitoring and control can be accomplished with the DSX Area, DSXW Wall, or DSXF Flood products. 17 Campus - University 15 Sequence of Operation Campus Common Areas Lights come on to set level at sunset, dim during early hours, and turn off at sunrise. Alter for weekends; lights come on to full output at sunset and stay on until sunrise. Lighting issues (eg outages, dayburners, etc) are identified, work orders are generated, and asset is repaired quickly to ensure security is maintained. Recreation Areas Lights turn on at predefined time and remain at full output until predefined time. Lights dim to low levels at predefined time to enforce operating hours Make changes for special events; override standard schedule to allow for flexibility during the event. 25 Control Systems Service Plans 23 Features Onsite Preventative Diagnostics Onsite preventative diagnostics and troubleshooting performed by an Acuity Brands representative. The representative will inspect the system for proper working condition, resolve issues (except those that require an electrical contractor), and attempt to identify problems before they occur, verify functionality, provide a system status report, and perform any minor programming changes, which will increase system up-time. Onsite Optimization Onsite optimization performed by an Acuity representative. The representative will evaluate the programming and sequencing of the current system and make modifications with the goal of increasing energy savings. During this visit, they can reconfigure the system to meet the changing needs of your facility. Onsite Training An Acuity representative will provide in-depth training to the end user on managing the specific control system, giving them the tools and knowledge to operate their system. Remote Preventative Diagnostics Through remote access to each customized control system, Acuity can assess the health of programs and networks and resolve problems as needed. Only available for systems with remote access. Unplanned Visits Acuity provides coverage for urgent and unforeseen system issues. An Acuity representative will go on site to conduct diagnosis and troubleshooting.the representative will use reasonable means to get the system working, or suggest other actions to remedy the problem. Software Updates Acuity will provide any software updates necessary to keep the control system operating efficiently. Software Updates Acuity will manage the replacement component process to simplify and expedite shipment of parts under warranty in order to get the system operational as soon as possible.
