3 Statement of Work #: Version: 1.1 P a g e 3 o f 10 Project Scope and Assumptions This SOW is based on the client environment and associated activities as identified in the content below. Any changes to the scope as defined below will require client and Ensynch approval in the change control section (Appendix B). The Ensynch consultants will perform only the work associated with the activities herein defined. Solution Overview Gateway Community College (GWCC) has engaged Ensynch to design and deploy a Citrix infrastructure that will initially support up to 150 concurrent connections with the ability to scale rapidly going forward. The GWCC does not currently have a desktop virtualization component but the leadership recognizes the necessity in order to achieve the organizations initiatives. Citrix is a versatile solution that delivers presentation and VDI services to a robust set of devices including mobile devices like the ipad. The Citrix environment will over time become a critical system in the delivery of applications and possibly desktops to the end points at GWCC. Ensynch s design includes redundancy, load balancing, and a test environment to ensure a reliable system that will meet the current and future needs. Ensynch is further recommending a performance test environment over a strictly functional test environment. This provides the capability to test functionality and performance which will be necessary as the environment grows. This engagement prepares GWCC to centralize a rapidly changing dynamic and distributed environment. GWCC and Ensynch will accomplish by designing and building an infrastructure that will scale to support end points ranging from thin clients, personal computer, ipads, Androids, and bring your own PC (BYOC). The infrastructure will protect the integrity of the information and allow for scalable growth over time. The virtualization capabilities will create a new level of IT automation that will begin transforming the GWCC IT organization an IT Service organization. Phase 3 Solution Design and Pilot o Application remediation o Map technology to business use cases developed in Phase 2 Presentation services VDI Application virtualization o Identity Microsoft and Citrix products for solution o Pilot Phase 4 Create Environment o Virtualization infrastructure o Provisioning Services o Citrix Installation o Application Integration and Testing o User Environment o Web Interface o End User Testing Build additional XenApp servers Phase 5 Develop Optimized Desktop o Develop a standard Windows 7 operating system image o Develop driver packages for up to five (5) endpoints o Assess and the current version App-V and integrate Phase 6 Go Live o Identify phase 1 rollout use-case candidates
5 Statement of Work #: Version: 1.1 P a g e 5 o f 10 Phase 7 o Develop client deployment plan o Execute deployment plan o Verify users are working o Validate performance metrics Documentation & Operational Transition o Prepare integration documentation o Operating system and application installation guide o Equipment description and function Deliverables The results of this engagement will transform the GWCC IT organization and how it delivers IT related services to the customers they serve. The following items are the components that will be delivered to meet the objectives of the project. Use-case definitions Hardware / Software compatibility analysis and application remediation VDI and presentation services virtualization infrastructure design and deployment Windows 7 optimized desktop and deployment plan Three (3) use-case deployments in the GWCC environment Design and maintenance documentation necessary to maintain the environment Assumptions This section lists any assumptions and/or dependencies that Ensynch has relied on in developing the scope, duration, project team, pricing, etc. of this Statement of Work. It is the expectation, that if any of the assumptions and or/dependencies listed in this section are invalidated, then the client will be presented with a Project Change Request which may or may not indicate a change in scope, duration, effort, or price. Physical hardware will be built and racked by client, in a timely manner, as needed to support this project. Client provides a fault tolerant Tier1 SAN that sustains 1500 IOPs. Client provides a fault tolerant SQL environment that Citrix can leverage. Ensynch will not deploy to the entire client environment but will ensure the pilot is sufficiently sized to represent the business adequately. A maximum of three (3) use cases including: o Presentation services o VDI

Project Team & Estimated Duration This section is an overview of the proposed project team, from an Ensynch and a client perspective, which is deemed necessary to complete the project. 7 Statement of Work #: Version: 1.1 P a g e 7 o f 10 Documentation It is important to note that all documentation will be developed during the duration of the project. Adequate time for documentation is required and is reflected within this Statement of Work. Knowledge Transfer Knowledge transfer takes the form of hands-on instructions while the project tasks are taking place, white-board sessions to discuss details and processes, and a comprehensive knowledge transfer with assigned consultants at the conclusion of the engagement. In addition, it is highly recommended that the client obtains vendor training for those employees that will be directly responsible for supporting and/or operating the products and/or technologies that are being implemented. Ensynch Support Ensynch Professional Services recommends that each Client consider the appropriate level of support for their implementation. The Ensynch Support Services organization is dedicated to providing several options that are designed to assist with your continued success after this consulting engagement has ended. Options for continued support can be discussed with your Ensynch Account Executive. Completion Ensynch will make commercially reasonable efforts to complete the activities described in the Project Scope and Assumptions section as limited by the assumptions described and Client s performance of responsibilities pursuant to the Client s Responsibilities section below. Client will be responsible for acknowledging delivery of the project by signing the attached Appendix B: Acknowledgement of Completion at the conclusion of this engagement. If Ensynch is not notified of any problems with the work within thirty (30) days of the completion of the engagement, the services delivered will be deemed accepted. Client Responsibilities Client shall cooperate with and assist Ensynch in the performance of the services and will provide the following resources necessary for Ensynch s performance hereunder as specified in this SOW:
8 Statement of Work #: Version: 1.1 P a g e 8 o f Client will appoint and make available a single point of contact or project manager designated to work with the Ensynch project team for all aspects related to the completion of Services and who will have authority to act on behalf of Client. 2. Client will provide access to staff resources (dedicated or part time), as specified in the Project Resource Plan. 3. Client shall ensure that adequate access to workspace and resources (i.e. Internet, telephone, etc.) is available at each facility where services will be provided by Ensynch. Ensynch Responsibilities Ensynch will ensure that Ensynch consultants assigned to this project are reasonably knowledgeable in the products and technologies outlined in this SOW. Ensynch will ensure that project issues are brought to the attention of the Client point of contact or project manager in a timely manner to ensure timely resolution with minimal impact to the project timeline. Change Control Changes to this SOW shall become effective only upon written agreement between Ensynch and Client as indicated by signature on a Change Control form. Changes to the SOW may require additional resources from Ensynch and may affect project duration and cost. Scheduling changes are subject to Ensynch staff availability. Proposed Schedule The proposed start date listed below is an estimate. The Project start date can be confirmed only after a signed copy of this SOW, along with a copy of a purchase order, are submitted to Ensynch, as described in Appendix A: Instructions on Contract Process. Unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties, Ensynch Professional Services requires two (2) weeks lead time to start a project. Once confirmed, changes to the scheduling of a project phase will be subject to terms outlined in the Cancellation Policy section. The consulting services included in this project are based on a continuous work effort with no interruptions in team resource allocation.
9 Statement of Work #: Version: 1.1 P a g e 9 o f 10 Required Signing Date: Proposed Project Start Date: Two - four weeks prior to commencement of the project. TBD A day is defined as eight (8) hours of work conducted between 8am and 5pm in the local time zone. The work schedule may be adjusted by mutual agreement to accommodate Client work hours or special circumstances. Pricing Client is responsible for issuing a purchase order for both the project cost as well as estimated expenses (listed at the end of this section) no later than ten (10) business days prior to the start of the engagement. Ensynch will not exceed the project cost as specified in the Client s Purchase Order without Client s written approval. Upon Client receiving written notice from Ensynch that the project activities cannot be completed within the specified cost, the Client will have the option to provide additional funds to complete the remaining activities or prioritize Ensynch s remaining efforts and terminate the project when funds have been expended. Payment Schedule For Time and Materials projects, Ensynch will bill monthly for time accrued. For Fixed Price projects, Ensynch will bill 50% of the total project cost at project initiation and the remainder 50% upon project closure and acceptance. Expenses If applicable, travel and expenses will be billed to the customer as actual within forty-five (45) days of the project s completion. Ensynch Professional Services sets a per-diem rate for meals and incidental expenses. The per-diem rate is standardized on the U.S. General Services Administration Domestic Per Diem Rates, which can be found at: Cancellation Policy Client acknowledges that cancellation of this engagement may cause Ensynch to incur nonrefundable travel expenses and other costs.
10 Statement of Work #: Version: 1.1 P a g e 1 0 o f 10 Accordingly, if Client cancels this engagement less than ten (10) business days, but more than three (3) business days prior to the start date of this engagement, Client shall pay Ensynch the fees equivalent to 10% of the total cost of this engagement, or $2,500.00, whichever is less. If Client cancels this engagement less than three (3) business days prior to the start date of this engagement, Client shall pay Ensynch all fees due for this engagement as if it had been fully performed or $12,500.00, whichever is less. Such cancellation shall be in writing and shall be effective when received by Ensynch. Terms and Conditions This SOW defines services to be provided by Ensynch for Client and is governed by the Terms and Conditions herein and Ensynch s standard Master Services Agreement, which is incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof. This SOW and any other agreement incorporated herein by reference set forth the entire understanding and agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter and may be amended only in writing signed by both parties. Any terms of any purchase order or other document submitted by Client that are in addition to, different from, or inconsistent with, the terms and conditions of this SOW and the Master Services Agreement are not binding on Ensynch and are ineffective.
