2 ARCHITECTURAL Cost effective, thermally efficient Curtain walling System10 Aluminium curtain walling, is part of the wider range of window and door systems used for clients in the public sector refurbishment and new build markets, has been designed to offer the widest versatility combined with ease of manufacture, installation, and future maintenance. The system is designed to meet the demands of large scale refurbishment projects typically found in many of our educational buildings and office blocks. It perfectly combines the use of aluminium and PVC-U components. Product Accreditation Products from Bowater Architectural have undergone rigorous independent testing at Wintech in line with CWCT test criteria to achieve a 2000 pascal rating. Design Team Involvement Bowater Architectural offer a full drawing design service to clients wishing to use its Curtain Walling products, taking schemes from design concept through to final specification. Integrated Supply Chain With Curtain Walling products only available through a nationally approved list of fully trained manufacturers and installers, Bowater Architectural offer products and services throughout the length and breadth of the United Kingdom, to the same consistently high standards at all times. Keyway & Spigot assembly methods System10 Aluminium curtain walling offers the innovative and unique Keyway assembly method, allowing faster fabrication and installation - saving time and money. Always keen to offer a range of fenestration solutions, Bowater Architectural also offer the more traditional Spigot method for those fabricators who are familiar with this system.

3 System10 Aluminium curtain walling is increasingly used across a wide spectrum of building projects, including new build and housing regeneration, and for the Ministry of Defence. However, over 80% of System10 Aluminium curtain walling schemes involve the refurbishment of educational buildings which no longer meet the requirements of modern day building regulations or fit for purpose environments. With the government s stated commitment to regenerate secondary schools on a national basis, the need for a tried and tested curtain walling system will become an even greater necessity for specifiers throughout the UK. Thermally efficiency System10 Aluminium s new and improved curtain walling delivers better thermal efficency than ever before. The system acheives a reduced 1.0 U-value. The resulting curtain wall installation obtains an A rated WER value.
