2 VACANCY MARKETING CAMPAIGNS MANAGER Job Title: Reporting To: Based: Marketing Campaigns Manager Head of Marketing & Communications FACT 88 Wood Street Liverpool L1 4DQ Salary 23,000 to 25,000 Hours of Work: 35 hours per week. This may involve some weekend and evening work and hours can be flexible to accommodate this. 3 About FACT FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) is the UK s leading media arts centre, based in Liverpool. It is a space where people, art and technology meet. We are proud to be part of the Arts Council s National Portfolio and Liverpool City Council s Arts and Cultural Investment Programme. Last year FACT commissioned 49 new artworks and presented work in 21 locations around the world. Purpose of post The main purpose of the role will be to devise and run marketing for the organisation ensuring they are effective and carried out according to FACT s aims and objectives as set out in the Business Plan. The post will work collaboratively with other teams across the organisation to identify and implement new marketing aligned with our strategy and business plan.

4 About you You are outgoing, energetic and entrepreneurial with a hands-on approach and a successful track record of leading and managing successful marketing. You have a range of skills, knowledge and experience relevant to marketing within the creative and cultural sectors You are passionate about film, video, new media art and creative technology and providing excellent service delivery and customer experience. Key Responsibilities include: Plan and run the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing Brief and oversee the work of internal and external agencies, such as designers, animators and printers, who will deliver much of the campaign activity Work within a budget and report any overspend Write, edit and proofread copy for promotional materials within marketing Ensure that the organisation s brand is adhered to in and in all communication channels Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs Maintain regular measurement of the ROI of Ensure accuracy of marketing materials and provide formal sign off if necessary Collect and use data to inform new and the evaluation of existing Keep abreast of current trends in marketing A/B Testing to trial new ideas for effectiveness. Key relationships include: Support the Head of Marketing in the ongoing development, implementation and evaluation of FACT s strategic business plan, with a focus on audience development. Work with the Business Development team to help to promote FACT s products and services effectively to both consumer and B2B markets Work with Programme team to effectively communicate the exhibitions and public programme of events. Work with the Innovation team to support and promote partnership projects. Work closely with the Fundraising and Development team as part of the audience development plan. Work closely with our building partners, Picturehouse and LEAF, to promote a full visitor experience.

5 Work closely with our Front of House team to ensure an integrated visitor journey is regularly monitored and measured and future development. Person Specification Essential A highly motivated, high achieving and creative individual with an ability to work without close supervision. Communication skills: Excellent writing skills are a pre-requisite as you will frequently have to write copy for marketing promotions. You will have to manage relationships with agencies and third parties as well as persuade a non-marketing audience, such as partners and other staff within the organisation, of the wisdom of proposed. Project management skills: As a manager you will have to work with a budget, meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure ROI on marketing. Numerical skills: you will need to acquire data and use it to target selected groups, as well as analyse the success or otherwise of. Strong technical ability and marketing platform experience. Relevant industry experience gained from a similar organization. An ability to work to organisational deadlines and KPI s. Desirable Educated to degree level. A professional marketing qualification, such as the Diploma in Professional Marketing or the Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Key Behavioural Competencies A commitment to providing excellent customer service An enthusiasm for art, media, innovation and creative technology A positive disposition with the ability to stay motivated and focused The ability to stay calm and friendly under pressure Entrepreneurial, collaborative, energetic and commercially-minded
