Keep your invoice with this manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front cover. Keep the manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference. Safety Warnings and Precautions WARNING: When using this product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment. Read all instructions before using this product! 1. KEEP PRODUCT USAGE AREA CLEAN. Cluttered areas invite injuries. 2. SUPERVISE CHILDREN AROUND THIS PRODUCT. Do not allow children to stand or climb upon the Bridge. The railings are not for climbing. 3. DO NOT ASSEMBLE THIS PRODUCT IF UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. Read warning labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgement or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not attempt to assemble this product. 4. USE EYE PROTECTION. Wear ANSI-approved safety impact goggles when assembling this product. Goggles are available from Harbor Freight Tools. 5. DO NOT OVERREACH. Keep proper footing and balance when assembling the Bridge. It is recommended that two to three people lift and position Bridge. 6. STAY ALERT. Watch what you are doing at all times. 3 7. CHECK FOR DAMAGED PARTS. Before using this product, carefully check that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for damaged parts and any other conditions that may affect this product. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately. To preserve the wood, stain or paint the unfinished surfaces. 8. Use this product for its intended purpose only. Injury could occur if this product is overloaded or unbalanced. Do not lean on the Rails (2). Place on a solid, stable, level surface. Watch for sharp edges or splinters. 9. THIS IS FOR DECORATIVE USE ONLY. It is not to be used as a real bridge over flowing water, a ditch, or a gulch. Do not place or stack items on the Bridge. Warning: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator. Unpacking When unpacking this product check to make sure that all parts are included as shown in the parts list. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number below. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: All parts below refer to the parts listed on page 8 of this manual. Because of the size and weight of this product, it is recommended that two or more people position this product. Hardware Identification Table: The table below will help you identify the hardware required for assembling the Wooden Bridge. See Figure 1. Figure 1 SKU For technical questions, please call Page 3

4 ASSEMBLY 1. Attach the two Cross Beams (3) to the two Base Frames (1) using the eight A Screws. Make sure the blocks on the ends of the Base Frames (1) are facing out. Then fit each of the four Rail Posts (6) into the spaces between the blocks on the Base Frames (1). Make sure the ends of the Rail Posts (6) with the two screw holes face up. Tighten with the four F Bolts, four G Nuts and four H Washers. See Figure 2 below. Blocks Blocks Figure 2 SKU For technical questions, please call Page 4

5 2. Place the sixteen Bridge Slats (4) along the top of the Base Frame (1). Screw into place using the seventy-two C Screws. Place the two specially designed Post Slats (5) in place so that they fit around the Rail Posts (6). Screw into place using the remaining C Screws. See Figure 3. 6 3. Place the two Bridge Rails (2) onto the tops of the Rail Posts (6), making sure that the indents on the Bridge Rails (2) fit snug into the slots on the Rail Posts (6). Screw into place using the sixteen E Screws. See Figure 4. Figure 4 SKU For technical questions, please call Page 6

7 4. Place the two Right Support Beams (7) and the two Left Support Beams (8) under the Bridge Rails (2). Screw into place by using the eight D Screws. See Figure 5. Figure 5 Maintenance 1. Replace any chipped or splintered wood if Bridge becomes damaged. 2. Treat the unfinished wood with paint or stain (not included) to lessen the chance of water damage.
