> Corporate social responsibility Service excellence has been central to TYPSA's client focus for more than 50 years and clients have built their trust on the quality of our engineering, consulting and architectural services. TYPSA has learned that its commitment must go beyond the role of professional service provider to ensure that it makes an uncompromising contribution to achieving a more balanced development of society, and at the same time, efficiently help to protect the environment. Furthermore, TYPSA is aware that today s society categorically rejects questionable management or dishonest or unethical behaviour. TYPSA Group's integrated management system has gradually been incorporating elements of socially responsible management as a result of the company's indisputable commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). Our integrated management policy is the starting point for our business values as a professional service provider committed to production excellence and outstanding technological and professional ability. TYPSA Group's commitment to sustainability has been systematically reflected in its annual reports for more than ten years. That commitment has now become firmer than ever, in line with the additional responsibility that accompanies our clear international expansion and presence in developing countries, where our professional services are most needed. TYPSA Group is now an international leader and must aspire to making ethical behaviour one of its principal trademarks, based on knowledge accumulated over the last 50 years and on its specialists' excellence. TYPSA continues to implement its integrated management system in all the offices and/or companies in the group where it was not already in place. The corporate social responsibility policy will no doubt eventually reach all those places where it is not yet part of the system and its principles will be shared with our main stakeholders: clients, employees, suppliers and subcontractors, the community and the environment. LATEST ADVANCES IN THE INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TYPSA is aware that all its employees and representatives must behave and perform strictly in line with the ethical standards set out in its code of conduct. Likewise, each and every one of them should expressly agree to comply with all the required obligations. The principles of transparency, legality, honesty and commitment to compliance are fundamental pillars of the Group s integrity policy. In 2017, the integrity management system manual and its protocols were approved, which completes the system, and members have been appointed to the compliance committee. OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR CLIENTS TYPSA Group stands out for its commitment to service excellence and the quality of the services it delivers, building a relationship of trust with the client by pursuing solutions that satisfy client needs and quality objectives within the framework of integrity and professional ethics. A large part of this trust is based on TYPSA's transparency, which goes beyond contract transparency. Our commitment to excellence and service quality makes TYPSA stand out in the crowd - clients are happy and goals are met 14 Corporate social responsibility

Similarly, we are committed to ensuring that all our communications, publications and commercial tools reflect reality and are ethically correct. We also commit to only accepting jobs that are within the scope of our competence and for which we are trained, technically and commercially, in order to offer efficient and high-quality services. Our clients can communicate with us and track their projects in real time by logging on to our website for exclusive access. Our website also provides secure access to client assistance services. The client support line offers an ongoing opportunity for clients to send us their queries and complaints, or indeed, any recommendations or suggestions for improvement which, in their opinion, would strengthen our relationship and our mutual trust or contribute to better product or service quality. The number of incidents generated is relatively low, considering the volume of activity, which is a great source of satisfaction. Figures are given below: Annual client satisfaction surveys reveal our clients opinions in more detail. Surveys are sent out once the project is finished, except in certain priority interest cases when interim surveys are conducted. The results are sent to those responsible for the projects and to the relevant divisions. In the case of negative comments, the causes are analysed and any opportunities for future improvement are identified. The results of these surveys over the last five years are shown below: 8,0 8,4 8,4 8,5 8,0 Our corporate newsletter is a valuable tool for keeping in touch with our clients. It is issued three times per year and is sent to all the clients who wish to be kept Corporate social responsibility in the loop as well as being featured on our website. In 2017, the newsletter was sent to 870 recipients. As in previous years, we have continued to work together with our clients on R&D projects. Our commitment to innovation helps us to improve our services and allows us to grow, together with our clients, in today s new scenarios geared towards foreign markets. In 2017, we participated in seven R&D projects in collaboration with our clients in central and regional government agencies, and in the private sector. A considerable number of internal quality and environmental management (ISO 9000 and ISO 14001) audits were carried out over the course of the year. The table below shows the figures for internal quality and environmental management audits carried out in the last five years: The table below shows the figures for internal quality and environmental management compliance over the last five years: 8,1 8,1 8,1 8,3 8,2 The number of certified management systems in place in new Group offices, subsidiaries and companies continues to grow. In 2017, MEXTYPSA and offices in Chile achieved ISO 9001 certification; the laboratory in Peru achieved ISO certification; and TYPSA Estadística y Servicios, MC2, RAUROS, MEXTYPSA and our offices in Chile, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Sweden and Australia achieved OHSAS certification. OUR COMMITMENT TO PEOPLE TYPSA Group offers an attractive business project to all its employees that encourages engagement, strengthens the corporate image and fully involves all team members. Our goal is to ensure that the TYPSA brand is recognised as synonymous with quality and with a commitment to the environment and the community, while representing a pledge to transparency and integrity wherever we are. To promote our employees' sense of engagement, we invite them to participate in TYPSA's share capital through share options. 15

creating a working atmosphere that encourages mutual respect, gives equal opportunities to women and men and integrates diversity. On 31 December 2017, 334 Group employees were company shareholders. The table below shows the number of company employee-shareholders over the last five years: Once again, a significant number of people received a bonus or incentive, depending on each individual's employment conditions, on their merit and their ability, as a way of sharing the profit obtained on the different Group contracts. One of TYPSA Group's strongest commitments to its employees is still continuous training as a source of motivation, of professional career development and as a means of retaining talent, not forgetting its value as a way to strengthen our intellectual capital. Professional development is promoted through annual training plans specific to our different operational areas. Individual training is planned every year. In 2017 in Spain alone, a total of 1,159 participants (492 different persons), were offered 343 training opportunities both incompany and externally, totalling 25,000 classroom hours and an investment of 1.6 million euros. TYPSA continues to run a professional career development programme for the most talented people on its payroll. Chosen individuals and their superiors agree on a plan to design and monitor a customised career path. Individual skills are developed by learning through experience. A varied course of action includes working on different projects, job rotation, international assignments, frequent job changes, obtaining qualifications and identifying training needs. TYPSA Group rigorously follows a code of ethical principles and values aimed at In order to promote innovation and improve work methods, TYPSA awards prizes for the best innovative procedure proposals made by Group employees To foster teamwork, knowledge-sharing and initiative as key factors in the professional development of the company and its people, TYPSA Group maintains the tradition of holding annual meetings between the executive board and each and every one of the company departments and divisions, as well as the subsidiaries, branches and regional offices. They serve to assess the achievements and results of each area, giving everybody the opportunity to express an opinion or to air grievances and raise queries. A survey is conducted prior to the meeting as a basis to exchange and discuss views, and to take the pulse of the current work climate so that the management can fine-tune any measures that need to be taken. In 2017, thirty of these meetings were held and a second survey was subsequently conducted to give the attendees the opportunity to express their opinions on the meetings and give their suggestions for making them more worthwhile. Furthermore, in order to promote innovation and improve work methods, TYPSA awards prizes for the best innovative procedure proposals made by Group employees. In 2017, four proposals and seven employees were rewarded. Finally, TYPSA offers its employees a system of subsidies to cover social and medical expenses. In 2017, forty TYPSA employees benefited from subsidies. OUR COMMITMENT TO SUPPLIERS AND SUBCONTRACTORS TYPSA Group takes its relationship with suppliers and subcontractors extremely seriously. We recognise the importance of their contribution to the final product offered by TYPSA. To ensure this level of quality, TYPSA Group has a supplier approval system which it uses systematically when selecting partners. 16 Corporate social responsibility

This enhances our clients' confidence as it ensures that the work is done in line with our standards even when it is not carried out directly by our staff. This supplier and subcontractor approval procedure is part of our integrated management system. Its main tool is an interactive database which is fed by dynamic questionnaires and contains all the historical information on suppliers and subcontractors. Our partners' commitment to quality, respect for the environment and social responsibility is particularly highly valued as a starting point. In order to be registered on the database, proof of working to international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO and OHSAS is required. Once registered, the procedure requires partners to be assessed every time they work with the Group. To maintain optimum service levels and reward quality, partners' work must be rated as 'very good' or higher to be selected again in the future. Work over the last three years is used for this calculation. In the case of international projects, a special effort is made to work with local suppliers and subcontractors to favour the economy in the area. In 2017, 250 subcontracted works were outsourced to 201 external suppliers and registered in the subcontractors programme. 48.5% of these jobs were carried out by Spanish subcontractors; the remaining 51.5% by international subcontractors. Over the last five years they have been rated as shown below: Average performance rating (out of 5) 3,9 3,9 3,7 3,8 3,7 indirectly and through third parties. The integrated management system provides a framework for this commitment, establishing annual targets to guarantee sustainability, structured on four main pillars: n Priority given to all environmental aspects in our work. n Responsible use of resources. n Proper management of our waste. n Appropriate environmental codes of practice for staff and suppliers. The integrated management system addresses this last aspect through specific procedures and technical instructions that ensure respect for the environment, both in the office and in the field. Selective waste collection is a priority in all our offices, for both hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring adequate treatment in each case. Thus, hazardous waste is delivered to authorised managers who take charge of its safe disposal, while non-hazardous waste, such as paper, is delivered to other authorised managers for recycling. To complement the above, water, electricity and paper consumption are tracked in all the Group's offices. This measure has enabled us to achieve considerable savings through annual improvement targets. In 2017 we consumed 17,208 kg of paper and 3,866 m 3 of water in our offices in Spain and we used 1,855,303 kwh of electricity. The figures for paper, water and power consumption in the last five years are shown below: Paper consumption (kg) Water use (m 3 ) Electricity consumption (kwh) OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT Since its incorporation, TYPSA has been guided by a responsible commitment to minimising environmental impact directly, TYPSA has been guided by a responsible commitment to minimising environmental impact directly, indirectly and through third parties Corporate social responsibility 17

The Guarantee of Origin Certificate issued by the Spanish National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC), confirms that the electricity supplied to all the Group's offices comes from renewable energy sources. The Group manages a legislation database, developed in-house and accessed via the corporate intranet, to ensure that our work strictly complies with environmental standards. All employees have access to the legal environmental requirements applicable to the work they are doing at all times. Likewise, there is an early warning system to relay news on environmental legislation the moment it is issued. TYPSA has been calculating its carbon footprint as part of the integrated management system since 2010 and its environmental system is ISO certified. The following table shows how our carbon footprint has changed over the past five years (tco2equiv.) We have been monitoring ways to improve energy efficiency in buildings, including more efficient use of lighting and computers; monitoring and optimising site vehicle fuel consumption; and tracking and optimising employee trips both for project purposes and for the daily commute. OUR COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY At TYPSA we are very aware of our responsibility toward the community in which we operate, therefore we endeavour to ensure that our activity is on course for improving community wellbeing. We are also particularly aware of the welfare of those groups we work with more closely or which are in some way involved in our activities. Communication channels are kept open for every circumstance and for every group, with a view to making people s lives more comfortable. With this in mind, TYPSA Group participates in business and professional organisations such as the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) and the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA), where a Group member is Chair of the External Aid Committee. We are also present on committees and boards of other agencies such as the Spanish Association of Engineering, Consulting and Technology Services (Tecniberia), and other independent business organisations. 18 Corporate social responsibility

TYPSA is also a member of different industry associations such as the Spanish Association of Integrated Project Management (AEDIP), the Spanish Road Association (AEC), the Technical Road Association (ATC), the Spanish Association of Tunnels and Underground Works (AETOS) and the Spanish National Committee on Large Dams. TYPSA is an active member of all these associations, and takes part in different task groups and committees. Together with other leading Spanish consulting engineering firms, TYPSA is a member of the Forum for Engineering Excellence (FIDEX) and in 2017 TYSPA s chairman served as its president. FIDEX was founded to enable the stakeholders to pursue quality professional engineering services, based on their shared vision of the imperative need to attain excellence in planning, studies, design, construction services and infrastructure operation and maintenance management. TYPSA's commitment to the community also extends to professional associations. TYPSA's chairman is on the Board of Governors of the Spanish Institution of Civil Engineers and our deputy chairman is the president of the Institute of Engineering of Spain. Other members of the Group also actively participate in these institutions at other levels. TYPSA continues to collaborate with universities and signed an agreement with the Fundación Agustín de Betancourt (at the Madrid School of Civil Engineering) to run the TYPSA Pablo Bueno Harbour Research Unit. The purpose of this agreement is to further knowledge and research and provide scientific and technical guidance in the field of maritime engineering, ports and coasts and marine energy. We also collaborate with the Spanish Institution of Civil Engineers to grant scholarships to the best newly-qualified graduates. TYPSA signed a collaboration protocol along these lines with Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University in Riyadh enabling engineering students and graduates to train and join work experience programmes at TYPSA offices and construction sites in Spain. In 2017, we welcomed 12 students in the final years of their courses. The community s needs have always been one of TYPSA's major concerns; with this in mind, the company has developed a policy to prevent and respond to the disease of corruption. In 2017, TYPSA renewed its commitment to the UN Global Compact, as a signatory firm. This initiative is promoted by the United Nations, and is one of the world's most important voluntary corporate social responsibility initiatives. TYPSA pledges to respect its ten basic principles under four key areas: human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to include the Sustainable Development Goals in its business strategy. TYPSA Group is particularly concerned about the progress of the least privileged members of the community. In an attempt to contribute to improving living conditions, TYPSA channels its cooperation and solidarity activities through the TYPSA Foundation for Cooperation, to which the Group contributes 0.7 % of its profit every year. The Foundation continues to support the construction of the University of Mahagi, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, now in the process of consolidating its teaching activity. In 2017, the first three Agricultural Engineering students graduated and the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) signed an agreement to take part in teaching activities in Mahagi.
