Investment prospect Starke ECB AB Starke Cycles Cargo Bikes Malmö August 31, 2017 To sign up for shares, use the entry form on the last page. In case of discrepancies between the English and Swedish document versions, the Swedish version always takes precedence. Vehicle for a sustainable last mile distribution, with patent pending. 1

The problem, that Starke Cycles solves Transporting goods and people in cities usually means trucks and vans, pollution, noise and traffic jams. We need more efficient city transports, with growing e-commerce, home deliveries of goods, grocery bags and other things. This is especially true in dense inner cities with narrow streets. The demand increases for better and more sustainable last mile deliveries, right up to peoples front doors. Traditional carriers that drive trucks and vans have a hard time keeping up with these demands. More and more city centres in Europe and other parts of the world become carfree, and heavy vehicles have limited or no access. But cargo hubs, roads, warehouse loading platforms, containers and pallets are designed for trucks. A sustainable solution to the last mile problem must not disturb the transport chain, or add hassle or cost to logistics that work today. It needs to be compatible. Photo: 2

Our solution The Starke Cycles cargo bike is cost efficient and environmental friendly. It can take the same shortcuts as bikes, and transport almost anything. No other cargo bike on the market today, has this large loading capacity. We developed the Starke Cycles cargo bike from several years of experience in the associated bike delivery service MOVEBYBiKE. Our cargo bike can take two Euro pallets and loads of up to 300 kg. We have a patent pending for the vehicle, including the unique roll on, roll of solution for a speedy loading and unloading. Roll on, roll off platform or container W electric motor Freight vehicle chassis Our roll on, roll off container solution, and enough space for two pallets, make the cargo bike compatible with existing logistics. Patent pending. The average speed for city traffic is usually not higher than the speed of a bike, and a bike vehicle can take the shortest and fastest route from door to door. That way, cargo bikes can save time and money. And the environment also becomes a winner, with less noise, less congestion and no pollution. 3

We have up-sized the bike so it takes more load than an average car, we have provided extra power to the driver with an electric motor, and the link into the logistics system is our revolutionising roll on, roll off container, with patent pending. Often, the truck driver has to walk long distances with the cargo, from the nearest available loading zone or parking. The cargo bike takes the shortest route from door to door. Time saved = money saved! Fast, sustainable, environmental friendly A better distribution model Today, delivery vans and trucks are usually loaded in cargo hubs, for distributing goods in cities. A more efficient way is to pre-pack the cargo on pallets or in containers, and load these on to trucks, which then unload the cargo modules in a transhipment zone close to the inner city. Cargo bikes arrive and load the containers or pallets, and distribute the goods in the city. This is true compatible and sustainable last mile distribution. 4

Product specification Starke Cycles is a Swedish cargo bike with enough space for two Euro pallets, and can load up to 300 kg. The cargo bike is type approved according to EU 168/2013 L1e-A (in Sweden this translates to EU moped class 2, which can go on bike lanes). The cargo bike has a 1000 W electric motor and batteries to sustain a full work day. It only consumes 10% of the energy as a comparable electric car, and weighs a lot less. Starke Cycles can take two Euro pallets and loads of up to 300 kg The photo shows an early model in use by MOVEBYBiKE Our cargo bike is a modular platform for many various types of containers and applications, which the driver alone can load and unload easily. The cargo bike fulfills deliveries all year around, regardless of weather. We have experiences showing freight bikes getting through snow and deliver, when cars and vans are stuck in snowpacks on streets. 5

Market Current customer requests. Discussions are ongoing with large e-commerce companies, food service Linas Matkasse, trading company Axel Johnson, a number of Swedish municipalities and several cargo bike transport services. The vehicle market for last mile transports is evidently huge all over the world. The potential for a pioneer vehicle manufacturer is large, in the niche we describe here. We have identified several use scenarios and applications for the Starke Cycles vehicle platform, including these: E-commerce with home deliveries easier to reach all the way to the customer s door, and in addition with a great promotional value. Cargo bike transport services need larger vehicles that are compatible with the existing logistics infrastructure. Established operators like DHL and UPS have started tests using cargo bikes in the transport chain. Property owners already today use cargo bikes for moving garbage containers, and cargo bikes can be used for utility transports in park & land maintenance and property management. People transports, for example cycle taxi, on airports, hospitals etc. Municipalities using cargo bikes for food deliveries to pre-schools and as a bike bus for 12 children assignments which our associated bike transport service MOVEBYBiKE perform already today. Municipalities can use cargo bikes as vehicles for maintenance of parks and properties. Food truck, rolling café, shop or transport service entrepreneurs can invent and create their own applications. 6

Competitors Truck and van transports in inner cities. Traditional distribution using heavy vehicles which occupy a lot of space in the streets. Cargo bike manufacturers. Cargo bikes exist today, which can load up to one Euro pallet, at most. But they have limited engine power, and they usually have a fixed loading platform at a distance above the ground. They are not designed so that the driver alone can load and unload the complete loading platform. Starke Cycles is the only manufacturer today with a cargo bike for two Euro pallets and loading up to 300 kg, and with an easy-to-use loading and unloading system. The team behind Starke Cycles Johan Wedin, chief designer Founder of MOVEBYBiKE delivery service in Johan has an extensive background within logistics and heavy vehicles. During the years with MOVEBYBiKE, Johan has collected experience from bike deliveries and the requirements for a heavy cargo bike. No vehicle is available on the market which fulfills the requirements, which is one of the reasons Johan decided to create the optimal cargo vehicle. Nils Wedin, designer Co-founder of MOVEBYBiKE delivery service in 2012, and Johan's son. Nils is a dedicated biker and an experienced mechanic and problem solver. Staffan Sölve, project leader Runs a franchise of MOVEBYBiKE in Lund since Master of Science with a background as a mechanical engineer, and also has his own IT business. 7

Earnings We estimate a unit sales price for Starke Cycles cargo bikes of approximately SEK (circa EUR 9.000), which will render a profit margin of 30%. In addition to selling vehicles, we will also gain earnings from sales of applications, sales of licenses for vehicles and applications, as well as service contracts and the after sales market. Milestones 2012 The cargo bike delivery service MOVEBYBiKE is founded, which will form the basis of last mile distribution using cargo bikes, through franchise in Swedish cities An early model of a cargo bike with large capacity is used in MOVEBYBiKE, which gives valuable experiences Starke ECB AB is incorporated, to develop and manufacture a completely new cargo bike, Starke Cycles Mockup and prototype in development, product design and type approval ongoing. Use of funding We have developed a prototype which will be tested during fall 2017, under real use conditions at MOVEBYBiKE. Several prototypes will be developed in a number of versions, iterated from gained experiences. In parallel we undertake the design work for the first production series. We will use the funding to reach the market faster, with a completed product. The funding will make it possible to complete the following steps: Product design, type approval, and component sourcing for the first production series.
