The plan Red Bridge Farm Feeds will be made local with local ingredients grown in Stevens county We wish to contract with local farmers to grow our ingredients. We will need to buy these ingredients from someone and would prefer it came from our Stevens County Farms With the purchase of an oil press, we will be able to make all required meals and oil on sight, keeping cost down and putting money back into our local farms rather than having oils and meals shipped in from Oregon and Montana Excess oil and meals, can be sold in addition to the feeds

NON GMO Raw Materials needed from Local Farms Wheat Barley Field Peas Oats Alfalfa Canola Camelina Flax

Positives for the farmer Closer outlet to sell their crops More money in their pocket due to less shipping cost Less wear and tear on their trucks Guaranteed sale for Non GMO crops in our list of ingredients needed More Crop options to rotate through fields. Farmers don t have to be stuck growing the same commodity that has prices in the dirt year after year Potential for $1 more per bushel than the going commodity price

Positives for the community Added jobs from farmers and in the mill High amount of revenue from around the northwest coming back to our county 90-97% of the feed ingredients can be grown in our county making our feed Stevens County grown Provides a means for more animal farming to move into the area due to high quality production based feed being available at an affordable price. Again, creating more jobs and keeping revenue in the county.

Oil press To press canola, camelina and flax for meals and oils for the feed Pellet Mill Equipment investments A recent survey of ours showed that out of 119 individuals polled 63% said they preferred to feed pelleted feed instead of mash.
