Item No. 1 Question - Please issue drawings showing condensate piping for Air Handling Unit #1 & Roof Top Unit #1. Answer: This information is indicated on Drawings M001 and M002. a. "Packaged Rooftop Electric Cooling / Heating Unit Schedule", remark #5 (M001), has the condensate drain requirement for RTU-1. b. "Split System Heat Pump Unit Schedule", remark #2 (M001), has the condensate drain requirement for AHU-1. The condensate trap details are on drawing M002. Question - Drawings P-100 Note #11. Please issue drawing showing the pipe penetration though wall. Answer: Sheet A302 shows the relationship between the overflow piping and existing gutter. Drain pipe will be connected to existing overflow scupper with custom fabricated connector. Question - Drawing P-100 Notes #6 & 7. Please issue drawing showing the pipe hook up to the gutter system. Answer: Sheet A302 shows the relationship between the internal drain and the gutter. 6 piping will be connected to internal gutter with domed roof drain.

2 Question - Please issue specs for Interior & Exterior lighting. Answer: Exterior Lighting Specifications are updated in Addendum #1 (issued 6/6/14). Interior Lighting Specifications are updated in Addendum #2 (issued 6/10/14). Question - Please issue Interior & Exterior lighting schedules. Answer: Interior and Exterior Lighting Schedules are updated in Addendum #1 (issued 6/6/14). Question - Specification # seems to be incomplete, please issue revised specification. Answer: Updated in Addendum #2. Question - Specification # seems to be incomplete, please issue revised specification. Answer: Updated in Addendum #2. Answer: The product manufacturer and type have been labeled on Sheet A702/8. Question - What ceiling type is to be installed in the lobby area? There is nothing in the legend for this material. Answer: The Legend on sheets A103A, A103B, and A104 have been updated to correctly represent ceiling material. Question - Can you issue specs for the 3Form items to be installed? Answer: The material type, finish, and color have been labeled on Sheet A402. Question - Can you issue specs for the backlit panels? Answer: The product manufacturer and type have been labeled on Sheet A701. Page 2 of 6

3 Question - The finish plan calls out carpet tile, but there is not a spec for this. It references spec #096816, but this is for sheet carpet. Please advise. Answer: The Specification has been corrected and addressed in Addendum #2. Question - From the pre-bid meeting the indication given for the completion date was December 31 st is this correct? Since liquidated damages are being assessed and schedule can impact price, please provide a completion date and contract duration. Is the same schedule duration in effect regardless of the alternates that are accepted? Answer: Owner s desired goal is completion of all phases by Liquidated damages will be assessed at the end of calendar days, as agreed upon in contract for construction. Question - Will a better phasing / alternate plan be provided? The current plan is only referenced in the RFP and it leaves an open interpretation to what areas will need to be completed and when. For example, the existing interior storefront doors are to be demoed. The way it is depicted on the drawing, it is to be included in Alt #1? Answer: Please bid per phasing alternate plan provided. Question - Can you provide details for 2B wall type? It is referenced in the drawings, but not detail of the wall. Answer: Additional Drawings have been drawn on Sheet A501/7 and A501/8 and provided in Addendum #2. Question - The corridors are not listed in the finish schedule. Please proved finish schedule for alternate pricing. Answer: The corridors and open spaces in the existing building are difficult to describe in a typical Finish Schedule. Wall finishes and Floor finishes for existing corridors and non-enclosed areas are located on Sheets A105A, A105B, and A106. Ceiling finishes for existing corridors and non-enclosed areas are located on Sheets A103A, A103B, and A104. New wall types are tagged on Sheets A101A/1, A101B/1, A102/1, A401/1 and A401/2. Wall finishes, floor finishes, and ceiling finishes for enclosed areas are located in the Finish Schedule on Sheet A105B. Question - Spec section calls out metal storage shelving. Are these Owner supplied? They are not referenced on the drawings. Answer: Please disregard this Section. It will be removed from the Conformed set of Specifications. Page 3 of 6

4 Question -No elevation for east wall in Office 111. What supports the Solid-Surface work counter? Answer: A new elevation has been drawn on Sheet A702/12 and provided in Addendum #2. Question - Written Specs call for Solid-Surface Curtain Wall & Storefront Sills. No details, dimensions, location for sills. Please verify. Answer: There are no Solid-Surface Curtain Wall & Storefront Sills. Specification Section has been updated and provided in Addendum #2. Question - Slat east elevation MERCH 110 has no dimensions, no detail, and no finish. Please verify this is by other or supply needed info for bid. Answer: The specifications have been updated and dimensioned drawings are provided on sheet A701/8. Updates are provided in Addendum #2. Question - S/F Elevation SF4 - Assuming this is door # 106-1? This door is not on door schedule. Looks like all glass door in elevation, but door hardware set 15 does not work for all glass door. Please advise? Glass thickness / Spec? Answer: Drawings A101A/1 and A401/1, Door Schedule and Specification Section DOOR HARDWARE have been updated and provided in Addendum #2. Question - S/F elevation SF-3 - Assuming this is an all glass sliding automatic door? Please advise and also need specification for this/ door type / glass thickness/ HDW? Answer: This is an all glass manual sliding door. Specification Section INTERIOR ALL-GLASS ENTRANCES has been provided in Addendum #2. Question - A702 - Note says replace with full lite frosted glass. Is there only one of these? Elevation looks as if there is no glass in door. Please advise? Door Number? 5 Question - Section Glass railing. There are no dimensions or details on drawings for this glass railing system. Please provide. Also the specifications nothing was chosen by the architect. Refer to 2.3 A. / D / E / F / G / H. You must choose what you want EX. Glass thickness / rail type / Shoe base Cap railing ETC. Please advise. Answer: Specification and drawings on Sheet A501/5 and A501/6 have been updated and provided in Addendum #2. Question - Section Says door should be 2 Thick 500 Tuffline by Kawneer. Door schedule on drawings say 1 3/4" Doors not 2. Please advise. Answer: Doors are 1 ¾ thick, manufactured by YKK for YCW750 OG 10 ½ system. Specifications have been updated and provided in Addendum #2. Question - Section Glazed Aluminum Curtain walls calls for a Vistawall CW /2" x 5 3/4" and 7 1/4" System. This does not make a lot of sense. You want Kawneer doors in a Vistawall CW. Would you not want these both to be the same manufacturer? Also your details for the C/W show it to be a lot deeper than what you specify. It also mentions solar eclipse sunshades. These are not on the on the plans. Please advise. Answer: There are no sunshades. Basis of Design is YKK, YCW750 OG 10 ½ system. There are multiple mullion and cap depths. Additional Drawings have been provided on Sheet A601/1, A601/2, A601/J3, and A601/H3. Drawings and Specification updates are provided in Addendum #2. Question - Section Glazing: Is this the type of insulated glass you actually want or is this spec just left over from a previous job? Blue glass? Please spell out what type of insulated unit you want clear / tinted / low E. Type of low E / Performance data for unit. Answer: This specification is correct as written.
