4 MANUFACTURING ENABLE DEFERRED ELECTRONIC RECORDS AND ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES FOR PRODUCTION EXCEPTIONS Enforce the capture of a deferred electronic signature upon closing a production exception. You can sign off on closing the exceptions and maintain your electronic records for compliance with regulatory requirements. USE RESOURCE INSTANCES IN MANUFACTURING AND MAINTENANCE Define resource instances for labor and equipment resources, and assign them to work order operations. You can specify a resource instance while reporting a resource transaction or while reporting a production or maintenance exception. IMPORT WORK DEFINITIONS THROUGH FILE-BASED DATA IMPORT Import a high volume of work definitions through file-based data import to support initial data load and data update scenarios. CALCULATE AND ROLL UP CUMULATIVE MANUFACTURING AND CUMULATIVE TOTAL LEAD TIMES Run a scheduled process to automatically calculate and roll up the cumulative manufacturing lead time and cumulative total lead time for items. These lead times are considered when an available-to-promise rule is set to process a sales order using the lead-time based promising mode. ENABLE AUDIT TRAIL FOR WORK ORDERS Enable an audit trail for manufacturing work orders and its child objects to comply with US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR 21 Part 11) for electronic record and electronic signature requirements. You can enable audit for any attribute in the work order, work order operation, operation material, operation resource, resource instance, operation material lot and serial numbers, and work order serial numbers. CORRECT WORK ORDERS AND TRANSACTIONS FOR IMPORT Use spreadsheets to correct and resubmit production transaction records that returns errors during file-based data import. You can view, correct and resubmit work order creation transactions, operation transactions, material transactions and resource transactions. INTEGRATE WITH EXTERNAL LABEL PRINTING SYSTEMS USING BUSINESS EVENTS Add to Oracle Manufacturing Cloud capabilities using business events. Upon completion of a product into inventory, you can get details of the product using an Inventory REST service and print a product label from Oracle Manufacturing Cloud to an external labeling application using Oracle Integration Cloud Service. UPDATE WORK ORDER RELEASED DATE AND CLOSED DATE Update the released date and closed date of a work order to a previous date with necessary validations. You can update the released date and closed date using the user interface, FBDI, and REST services. 4

5 E-SIGNATURES AND E-RECORDS REVIEW E-RECORD AND E-SIGNATURE DETAILS INLINE Review electronic record and electronic signature details for both inline and deferred approvals in a PDF file on the E-Signature page. CAPTURE USER NAME WITH E-SIGNATURE Capture user name and password while generating an e-signature for inline and deferred transactions. During the signing process, you are now required to enter the user name along with the password for two distinct identification components of the e-signature. PRINT E-SIGNATURE HISTORY IN E-RECORD Include e-signatures and comments from reviewers at the end of an electronic record report. You can also access the e-signature history from the Electronic Signatures work area. QUALITY MANAGEMENT CONFIGURE INSPECTION ACTIONS Visually configure the inspection plan action rules for performing user-initiated and automated actions based on the inspection results entered. These rules can change the material status, create a quality nonconformance issue, guide the user with a message, raise a quality inspection business event, and alert other users through a notification. MANAGE QUALITY INSPECTION PLANS USING A REST SERVICE Use a REST API to create new quality inspection plans and and update quality inspection plan details, specifications, and inspection criteria. You can also get complete information on existing inspection plans. MANAGE DATA SECURITY ACROSS ISSUES AND ACTIONS Restrict data visibility and access to specific users and roles using the new Security side tab on Issues and Actions. Creators and assignees are granted automatic access to their issues or actions. DISPLAY MANUFACTURING RESOURCE INSTANCE Capture resource instance details on quality issues or actions raised as resource production exceptions. When the affected object is a manufacturing resource, the resource instance can be included on the Affected Objects detail page, and is also available for reporting through Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI). MANDATE SIGNATURE PASSWORD UPON WORKFLOW APPROVAL Enable the Signature Password Required option for Issues and Actions workflows to mandate that a user must provide both a user name and a password during workflow approval. 5

6 EXTEND QUALITY ISSUES AND ACTIONS USING APPLICATION COMPOSER Create your own buttons, actions, and URL tabs for quality issues and actions. In Application Composer Studio, you can create multiple groups, add attributes in each group, and arrange the attributes into dynamic field groups. UPDATE 18B REVISION HISTORY This document will continue to evolve as existing sections change and new information is added. All updates appear in the following table: Date Feature Notes 20 APR 2018 Integrate and Extend Manufacturing Using REST Services Updated document. 7 GENERATE LOT AND SERIAL NUMBERS AT PRODUCT COMPLETION Generate lot and serial numbers for products during work order completion or orderless completions. DELETE A WORK DEFINITION Delete a work definition that was created through either a manual or an automatic process. On the Manage Work Definitions page, you can delete all versions of the specific work definition. INTEGRATE AND EXTEND MANUFACTURING USING REST SERVICES MANAGE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE ORGANIZATIONS USING A REST SERVICE Use the Electronic Signature Preferences REST service to retrieve electronic signature preferences for supply chain management transactions from the setup. MANAGE WORKDAY PATTERNS USING A REST SERVICE Use a REST API to create workday patterns for the schedule repository and update existing workday patterns. You can also identify the shifts assigned to the workday pattern. MANAGE SHIFTS USING A REST SERVICE Use a REST API to create shifts for the schedule repository and update existing shifts. You can also get details of existing shifts using punch or flex time. MANAGE SCHEDULE EXCEPTIONS USING A REST SERVICE Use a REST API to create schedule exceptions for the schedule repository and update existing schedule exceptions. Schedule exceptions override the default working and nonworking time defined in a schedule by the workday patterns. MANAGE SCHEDULES USING A REST SERVICE Use a REST API to create schedules and update existing schedules. Schedules define working and nonworking time by repeating workday patterns over a period of time.
