5 DESCRIPTION ZP 600 is a two-component, high build epoxy paint. RECOMMENDED USE ZP 600 is suitable as a one-coat system or as a topcoat in epoxy systems for a wide range of new build or maintained steel structures. ZP 600 can be overcoated with a wide range of Hempel topcoats. 7 DESCRIPTION SHADE * FINISH is a 2-component polyurethane, cured with aliphatic isocyanates. It has good gloss and colour retention and contains zinc phosphate. RECOMMENDED USE is suitable as a high-build, one-coat system in compliance with the VOC provisions for protecting steel structures in a moderately corrosive environment. 9 DESCRIPTION SHADE FINISH Avantguard 750* is a two-component, activated zinc epoxy primer. The product is a new innovative anti-corrosion coating, which reduces the effects of corrosion and offers advanced protection. It is based on activated zinc and is part of Hempel s new range of high performance protective coatings, using the Avantguard technology. RECOMMENDED USE Avantguard 750 is a VOC compliant, versatile, long-term primer on steel for epoxy, vinyl and acrylic coating systems in severely corrosive environments. 11 DESCRIPTION Hempel s Alkyd 43140* is a very quick-drying anticorrosive primer/topcoat, with good adhesion to steel. Now available via Hempel s Multi-Tint system. RECOMMENDED USE Hempel s Alkyd is suitable as a single/double coat anticorrosive primer/ topcoat for steel structures, general steel work and a multitude of applications for heavy and light steel industry, where quick drying properties are required. For general use on exterior and interior steel surfaces. 22 C1 Very low Heated buildings with a clean atmosphere, such as offices, shops, schools, hotels. C2 Low Buildings which are not heated, where condensation may occur e.g. storehouses, sports halls. C3 Medium Production space of high humidity and certain air contamination e.g. foodstuff plants, laundries, breweries, dairies. C4 High Chemical plants, swimming pools, ship repair yards. C5 I Very high (industrial) Buildings and areas of almost constant condensation and high contamination. C5 M Very high (marine) Areas of almost constant condensation and high contamination.
