1. General information TIKOS is divided up into various program modules. Largely these can be derived from the respective service type. Every module is functional on its own or in combination with other modules. Which modules can be deployed in your company depends on which modules you have purchased. These manual contain the documentation on the Route Optimisation module. To use this module, you must know how to use the Route Management module. For the important basic information on planning and creating customer routes in TIKOS, please refer to the Route Management manual. This module enables you to carry out exact route billing and optimisation of your customer route in which the driving and rest periods, opening and loading times per customer as well as the anticipated number of containers required can be taken into account per customer and weekday exact to the day. A vehicle is assigned to every route and you can decide whether the shortest or quickest route is to be billed. If the address does not match the actual loading/unloading point, you can highlight the appropriate location on the map and save it as a geographic coordinate. Thanks to the integrated map system, the configurable speed profiles for trucks and cars and the individually adjustable time factor, you can quickly and easily calculate the journey time and the total loading time per route. You can however only do this for an individual customer. You can move the route stops at any time manually and then rebill the entire route. You can optimise routes from the point of view of journey time and the route taken at the touch of a button. You can calculate and display the most sensible route for a new customer. Here, the selected routes are recalculated taking into account the relevant customer. 2. Vehicle parameters You enter all the vehicles used for a route with the specific vehicle data by choosing the main menu Master Data Parameter All vehicles you have already created are listed in a table on the List tab page. support@socom.de socom.de Page 3 of 20

Enter the relevant vehicle details such as "vehicle type","official licence plate", "date of purchase" and the "kilometre reading" on the Detail tab page. For the vehicles determine the "loading order" and the loading capacity, i.e. the "maximum number of containers". Due to vehicle capacity utilisation, you use this setting when planning and optimising routes. Choose the appropriate settings in the "Vehicle Profile" and "Emission Class" fields. Enter the dimensions in the Vehicle Sizes. Enter the refuelling data for the individual vehicles on the Fuel Evaluation tab page. If you are using the Mobile Route Management module, these parameter settings are also important for the maintenance of vehicles, route planning and the automatic entry of fuel data. For further information on this module, please refer to the corresponding manual. 3. Route parameters Create the routes you require for your customers by choosing the main menu Master Data Parameter Customers Routes. All routes you have already created are listed in a table on the List tab page. Enter the route data for each individual route on the Detail tab page on page 1. For detailed instructions on how to enter the route parameters, please refer to the Route Management manual. Choose on which weekdays the relevant route is driven using the "Visit Days" check boxes. Click the icon to open the Delivery Order dialog in which the customers added to this route are listed in the currently defined order together with the customer number, time, address etc. If you want to change the order position of a customer on the route, activate this customer. You can move the customer stop separately using the arrow buttons on the right-hand side of the dialog. Click "Apply" to save your changes. Define which and how many containers are required throughout the entire route per customer on the Containers tab page. support@socom.de socom.de Page 4 of 20

You can automatically bill and optimise the route by clicking the "Bill Route" button. This opens the Delivery Order dialog: On this overview page for the route, the individual customers are listed on the left-hand side in the current order with all the necessary data such as customer numbers, name, driving time, loading time and the address. The route is shown socom.de Page 5 of 20

topographically on the right-hand side. On this map, a visit destination is indicated by a destination flag. The green flag indicates the location. Various fields are available in the lower section. The time for the entire route is shown in the "Info" field. You can define the direction of the route in the "Reverse Order" selection field. Use the "Time Factor" scroll bar to optimise the route either in accordance with the shortest or the fastest route. The status bar shows the progress of the optimisation. You can print out the route by clicking the "Print Route" button and export it as a "*.jpg/*.bmp/*.gif picture" by clicking the "Export" button. Optimise the order of the route using the entered data such as, for example, the time factor and the opening times by choosing the "Optimise Route" button. Save the new delivery order of this route by clicking the "Apply" button. You can now automatically adjust the time by clicking the clock icon in the Delivery Order dialog. Click "Apply" and "Close" in this dialog to save your data and get back to the Routes parameter dialog. Maintain the navigational parameters for the routes on the Route Optimisation tab page: In the "Route Optimisation" area, you can configure whether motorways or ferries are to be used for the navigation of this route. A function for calculating road toll fees is envisaged but is currently not yet functional. Define whether for the route planning the "shortest route" or the "fastest route" is to be taken for the route using the "Time Factor" scroll bar. The settings for the "driving and rest periods", which are prescribed by law, are taken into account during the route optimisation. In the "Time Targets" area, define the maximum times, such as duration, driving time, waiting time on the route and waiting time per customer for the route optimisation. Define address data for a deviating tour start and/or for a deviating tour end on Detail Page 2. support@socom.de socom.de Page 6 of 20

After entering the "Street", "Postal code", "Town" and "Country" data, you can define the exact position more specifically using the GEO button and save it with the corresponding coordinates. If you have entered a different address at the start of the route and/or at the end of the route, this deviating address is used to bill and optimise the route instead of the company address during the route optimisation (see e.g Programs > Route Management > Route Planning, Geo Button). Create parameters for the route texts, e.g. for company holidays on the Route Texts tab page. Enter the time targets for the delivery day of the route which then apply to all customers on this route on the Time Targets tab page. support@socom.de socom.de Page 7 of 20

4. Customer routes Create routes per customer and department for different service types by choosing the main menu Master Data Customer Options Routes. All routes you have already created for the customer are listed in a table on the List tab page. Enter the route data for every customer route on the Detail tab page. After every defined route in the lower section of the dialog, you will find the icon with which you open the Delivery Order dialog in which you can set the places of delivery on this route in an optimised order (see Master Data > Parameter > Customers > Routes ). As a result of optimising the customer route, the system automatically determines the time when the driver is to arrive at the customer. Activate the job, goods-in- and order control, enter opening times and specify holiday periods on the Miscellaneous tab page. You can also define the route list, create jobs and invoices and determine how the job card is printed. support@socom.de socom.de Page 8 of 20

You can enter these details with the required "loading times" in the "Opening Times" fields. The opening times at the individual customers are used to plan and optimise routes. If you are using the Mobile Route Management module, the loading times are replaced by the actual loading times. For further information, please refer to the corresponding manual. Enter the articles to be exchanged on every route for the different service types such as dust control mats and hand towel roll dispensers on the Route Article tab page. For every delivery day on the customer routes, define the times for the necessary work steps such as ordering, packing, goods-in etc. on the Time Targets tab page. Manage the estimated number of containers for the individual customer routes on the Container tab page. Specify additional texts for the route list, the delivery note and the job card on the Info Texts tab page. For detailed instructions on how to plan and create customer routes, please refer to the Route Management manual. socom.de Page 9 of 20

5. Route planning To change a route on a one-time basis, e.g. on holidays or if additional customers are to be visited, open the dialog Route Planning by choosing the main menu Programs Route Management Route Planning: After you have entered a date and selected the required route for this day, all the customers assigned to this route are displayed in the left-hand area entitled "Source". You can change the delivery order manually using the arrow buttons. Click the map icon to automatically optimise the route. The map view of the Route Planning dialog in which you can optimise the route (see Master Data > Parameter > Customers > Routes) is displayed. Click the "Apply" button to apply the optimised changes to the route and insert them in the route planning. The customers changed in the delivery order are highlighted in yellow to mark them out. You can "add" or "delete" customers on a one-time basis using the buttons in the lower section of the dialog. You can add both existing and sporadic customers. If a route is still not available for this customer, you must create a sporadic route. If a customer is to be moved or copied to a different visit on a one-time basis, select the required date and the appropriate route in the right-hand "Target" area. As soon as the target route has been confirmed, the customers you previously selected are moved or copied. For easier operation, you can select and move, copy or delete several places of delivery at the same time using the usual Windows functions. The following colour highlighting indicates one-time changes on a route: Customer deleted: red Customer moved: ruby-coloured Customer added: green Delivery order changed: yellow support@socom.de socom.de Page 10 of 20

6. Sporadic customers Sporadic customers are customers who are visited in no fixed rhythm. You can create these customers quickly and conveniently with all the relevant data such as name, address, telephone number etc. For instructions on how to do this, please refer to the manual for Route Management. To create a new customer with a route or to assign an existing sporadic customer to a customer route, open the dialog Route Planner by choosing the main menu Programs Route Management Sporadic Customers. Enter the"customer number" which is to be added sporadically to a route. Open the customer selection by pressing the F5 function key or the corresponding "F5 Selection" button. After you have entered the customer number, the system automatically displays the customer data, i.e the address on the right-hand side of the dialog box. You can also select the "department" optionally. You must also select and / or define the "customer route". Now choose the"pick up date", the "delivery date" and the associated "route" in each case. Then click the "Position" button to define the visit position of this customer in the route using the arrow buttons. Click the map icon to get to the Route Planner dialog: support@socom.de socom.de Page 11 of 20

In this topographical display of the route, you can define the position of this sporadic customer in the delivery order. To define the position in the delivery order, select the customer and drag it to the required position. Click "Apply" to save the data and close the dialog. Complete your entries by setting the green check mark. If you would like to create a job card, activate the corresponding "Job Card" check box. Activate the check box for "One-time texts" to enter a one-time information text for your driver and / or the job card. Click the "Apply" button to confirm the route planning for the sporadic customer. 7. Route search using the customer master data You can calculate and display the most sensible route for every new customer. Recalculate the selected routes taking into account the newly created customer on the Detail tab page under Master Data Customers. The anticipated number of containers as well as the opening and loading times are used for the billing: support@socom.de socom.de Page 12 of 20

Click the map icon on the Detail 1 page in the customer master data. The Customers dialog is automatically displayed: support@socom.de socom.de Page 13 of 20

On the Map View tab page, the customer address found by the navigation system is shown topographically. The destination flag indicates the location. If the address does not match the actual loading/unloading point (e.g. the driver must use the rear entrance to the yard), the relevant location can be highlighted on the map by left-clicking it and saved as a geographic coordinate. Below the target flag, the new target location is then indicated by the word "New". You can print out the route and export it as a "*.jpg/*.bmp/*.gif" by clicking the appropriate buttons in the map view. Click the "Bill Route" button to calculate the route using the current company location. You can undo the change by clicking the "Reset" button. You can now look for a suitable route for the new customer on the Search Route tab page: Using the "Monday" to "Sunday" check boxes select the days on which the customer would like to be visited. You can restrict still further the number of possible routes by entering the opening times of the customer. Also specify the loading time and the expected number of containers. When you click the "Possible Routes" button, all customer routes matching the entries are listed according to distance in ascending order. In addition for every route the total number of containers for this route is shown together with the maximum number of containers for this vehicle. In the sample picture in the first column, the maximum number of containers has been exceeded and therefore the column is highlighted in red. Now set check marks for the routes suitable for the customer and click "Bill Route". The route optimisation function calculates the optimum route for the chosen customer route. The anticipated number of containers required, the opening and loading times and the distance are used for the billing: As a result, routes with the respective differences with regard to journey time and length of route are displayed. support@socom.de socom.de Page 14 of 20

You can display the chosen route by clicking "Show Route": After you have selected the optimum route, you can add the new customer to this customer route after entering all the required data in the menu under Master Data Customer Options Routes. socom.de Page 15 of 20

8. Geographic coordinates customers Compare the created customer addresses with the map system and check them for any mistakes by choosing the menu Programs Route Management Geographic Coordinates Customers. All customer addresses which have not yet been checked to ensure they are correct are displayed In the Geocoder Customer Addresses dialog. When you click the "Geocoder" button, the system compares the addresses with its database. The following icons indicate the respective status of the address: Symbol Explanation The address is correct. The geographic coordinates have been found. The address is not correct. Several alternatives have been found. The address is not correct. One or no alternatives have been found. For every address not found in the upper window, either none, one or several alternative addresses are offered in the lower window. If you have found the correct address, select it and save your entries by clicking "Apply". When you click the "Map" button, the map view of the city or town is displayed so that you can search for the address using the map and highlight it by setting a target flag. Click "Apply" to save this entry with the geographic coordinates. If you have checked all the addresses, you can end the dialog by clicking "Close". support@socom.de socom.de Page 16 of 20

9. Map view in the mobile route data If you are using the Mobile Route Management module, you can view all information on the completed customer route in TIKOS by choosing the main menu Programs Route Management Mobile Route Data. If you are using the Route Optimisation and Mobile Route Management modules, you can display the customer route actually driven on a detailed map. Click the "Map View" button in the Mobile Route Data dialog to open the following dialog: On the left-hand side of the dialog, all customers on the route are listed and numbered with the arrival and departure time, the loading and journey time and further data. On the right-hand side, the route driven is shown topographically. Every visit destination is indicated by a number and a target flag. The green flag indicates the location. The planned route and/or route optimised by the route optimisation function is indicated by a blue line. The mobile device always saves the location, time and speed during the route driven at a pre-defined distance. You can see the route actually driven in the map view. The saved measuring points are shown on the map as green arrows pointing in the direction of travel. If you click an arrow in the route, it turns red and shows the time and the speed. When you activate a customer, it is highlighted on the map with the arrival and departure time. You can also see the speed at which the driver completed the route from the diagram below the listed customers. If you click one of the speed curves with your mouse, the exact time and point on the route the driver was currently at are shown on the map. support@socom.de socom.de Page 17 of 20

You can track the route from the start in the direction of travel using the individual arrows by pressing the key sequence Alt + arrow or. You can follow the route against the direction of travel by pressing Alt + arrow or. If you keep the key sequences depressed, you can follow the route and view all times and speeds. If you select a point in the diagram at the bottom left of the screen, this will also be displayed as a red arrow. You can define the distance at which the mobile device saves the measuring points. This functionality can only be configured by a support employee of SoCom Informationssysteme GmbH. For further information on the Mobile Route Management and Mobile Route Data modules, please refer to the corresponding manual. support@socom.de socom.de Page 18 of 20

10. Route monitoring If you are using the Route Optimisation and Mobile Route Management modules, you can call up the current positions and the status of the vehicles on a map by choosing the main menu Programs Route Management Route Monitoring. To be able to do this, the mobile devices must be equipped with a mobile phone card. All vehicles which have a mobile device configured accordingly for the data transfer are listed together with their vehicle registration and route numbers on the left-hand side of the Map View tab page. The most recently transferred positions of the vehicles and / or mobile devices are shown topographically on the map. Every two minutes the system queries the current position as well as the current status and the view is updated accordingly. The vehicle selected in the selection list is highlighted in red on the map. You can print the map by clicking the "Print Route" button and export it as a *.jpg/*.bmp/*.gif by clicking the "Export" button. If your telephone system is connected by means of TAPI, you can call the mobile device of the desired driver directly by clicking the "Dial Number" button. You can call up the tachograph and the current position of the vehicle on the displayed customer route by clicking the "Show Route" button. To delete data relating to vehicles on customer routes that is no longer required in this dialog, choose the "Delete" button. You can transfer additional route stops to the mobile device using the Positions tab page: support@socom.de socom.de Page 19 of 20

The Positions tab page is divided into two areas. On the left-hand side, the driver's current customer route is listed which shows which customers he has already visited. All remaining customers are shown on the right-hand side. You can use the arrow keys to add customers which have cropped up at very short notice to this route and position them. Click the "Send" button to send these added visit positions to the driver's mobile device. On the Changes tab page, you can view this transmitted data until the driver has confirmed this message on his mobile device. If the data has not yet been accepted, you can delete these route changes again by clicking "Delete". If only a notification is to be sent to the driver, you can do this using the One-time Texts tab page. All information sent to a vehicle accumulates on the Messages tab page. These messages are then deleted on this tab page as soon as the driver has once again confirmed the message on the mobile device. You can view the number of containers per customer that the driver has picked up from the relevant customer using the Loading Condition tab page. support@socom.de socom.de Page 20 of 20
