Founded in Norway in 1905, Yara has a worldwide presence with sales to 150 countries. Safety is always our top priority GHG emissions -54% GHG EMISSIONS When founded in 1905 we pioneered nitrogen fertilizers in a time of emerging famine. A hundred years later we respond to climate change, cutting our greenhouse gas emissions by over 50%. Our crop nutrition programs can halve the carbon footprint from fertilizer use, demonstrated by the world s first Carbon Footprint Guarantee.

Yara s global operation includes 24 production facilities in 15 countries, and more than 200 terminals and warehouses, making it the world s largest supplier of mineral fertilizers. With an extensive value chain from the extraction of minerals to the distribution of crop nutrients, Yara has built a unique operation offering customers reliability and quality. Yara s market presence in asia includes a global network of sales offices in 10 countries and sales to more than 16. Supported by a strong production and marketing base in Europe, the company has been expanding rapidly in Asia whilst maintaining in-depth local knowledge of Asian crops. The final solution is often simple and affordable. It comprises of high quality fertilizers, applied at the right stages of plant growth. With our combined crop nutrition expertise, Yara agronomists are working with farmers across Asia to improve the productivity of their farmlands and more importantly, to maximise their returns. CheckIT We have developed the Crop Nutrition Concept offering a complete grower s package and we offer the handy CheckIT smartphone app. Now, we are involved in solutions for a water scarce future. Our environmental solutions contribute to large reductions in global NO x emissions.
