1 Other Rater User Guide Specialized Service Provider Appraisal Overview The purpose of your contribution as an Other Rater is to provide feedback to colleagues during the end-of-year appraisal process and to inform an SSP s evaluator of an additional perspective on the employee s performance. As part of this process you will enter comments for the Evaluator to take into account as they do final ratings and enter final comments for the SSP. Before You Begin Before you enter HR Infor (formerly GHR), it is recommended that you take some time to reflect and collect any materials you may want to reference. SSPs have an opportunity to complete a self-appraisal to reflect on professional practice and student outcomes, and request feedback from other raters. Evaluators of SSPs will complete a final appraisal (evaluation) for SSPs and host a conversation. The timeline below is for the end-of-year process. An SSP can request your feedback starting on April 3. You can consult with the SSP and/or evaluator to determine when they need the feedback before their endof-year conversation. Date Event Required by SSPs Required by Evaluators April Infor HR appraisal open for SSPs to complete self-appraisal. SSPs can invite additional raters to provide feedback. Evaluators begin to schedule end of year conversations with SSPs. Steps to take prior to end of year conversations: SSPs finalize two SLOs in SLO application. Evaluators provide ratings and comments on each professional practice expectation and SLO in Infor HR, before finalizing appraisal. End of year conversations occur between SSPs and Evaluators. April 10- May 19 Steps to take after end of year conversations: Evaluators approve or request revisions on SLOs in SLO application. Evaluators finalize appraisal and provide an overall rating for SSPs to acknowledge in Infor HR. SSPs acknowledge the overall rating and provide comments for their evaluator to acknowledge in Infor HR. Evaluators review and acknowledge the SSP comments in the consolidated appraisal in Infor HR. June 2 Deadline to finalize SSP appraisals in Infor HR.

2 Tips for Navigating Infor HR The platform formerly knows as GHR Talent Management now Infor HR has been updated and is live. You can now access Infor HR outside of the DPS network and only need to access it via your web browser. The preferred web browsers for Infor HR are Internet Explorer and Firefox. Directions for navigating to Infor HR are located in section 1 on page 3. You also have the option to save and close at any point during the self-appraisal and complete it another time. When you are ready to finalize the appraisal and send it to your evaluator, you will click the Finalize button. Once you complete this action, you will no longer be able to revise the appraisal. 3 STEPS SCREEN SHOT Section 1: Logging in to Infor HR 1. Navigate to the Commons k12.org/dpsk12. Note: You can access the Commons and Infor HR outside of the DPS network. 2. Click on the Portals and Tools dropdown at the top of the screen. 3. Click on Infor HR/Finance Systems This will take you to the login page. Click on Access Infor HR (formerly known as GHR Talent Management) Login using your standard DPS credentials (first name_last name and your password). 5 Other Rater: User Guide Page 3 of 6

4 6. Click on My Reviews in the upper left hand corner. 6. Click on the Other Rater tab. You will find a list of individuals who have requested your contribution to their end-of-year appraisal. Double click the employee s name from the list and click Start Appraisal to open the appraisal and begin. 8. Provide comments on the SSP s professional practice and if possible, provide evidence for expectations or indicators on the SSP s framework for professional practice. You can also reference areas of strength, areas for growth, and actionable next steps for professional learning. 8 Other Rater: User Guide Page 4 of 6

5 9. Provide comments on the SSP s evidence of impact on student outcomes (SLOs) and if possible, provide evidence Provide overall section comments and click the Finish button. You will now see that the appraisal is 100% complete (if it does not say 100%, you have not completed all the required fields. If you want to exit the form and continue later, you can click Save and Close at any time. 10 Other Rater: User Guide Page 5 of 6

6 11. If you need to continue the appraisal, click Continue Appraisal. 12. If you are satisfied with the feedback you have provided, click the Finalize button. Keep in mind, that once you finalize the appraisal, your comments will be viewable to the employee s evaluator and no further changes can be made Thank you for providing feedback on SSP performance!
