Typically, my work gravitates towards extremes: extreme choices, extreme personal outcomes such as CEO dismissal, significant negative events, and celebrity firms. Examples of social factors include reputation, media coverage, and discourse. I study cognitive factors influencing executive decision making through archival studies exploring, for example, CEO political orientation and experimental laboratory studies.
