The psthlder will manage the membership team and be respnsible fr membership grwth, engagement and retentin acrss the Eurpe regin. This will include but is nt limited t the day-t-day management f membership prducts and services, the develpment and delivery f benefits and prgrammes, and the strategy fr acquisitin and retentin f members acrss Eurpe. The pst hlder will line manage tw Member Services Managers, yu will als be part f the glbal membership team and wrk clsely with ther key departments including, research, business develpment, marketing and cmmunicatins and the educatinal prgrammes teams t deliver excellent membership services and prducts. Other key stakehlders will be clleagues in ther CASE reginal ffices, key vlunteers including the Eurpean Advisry Cmmittee, a grup f vlunteers wh help supprt and drive membership in mainland Eurpe. In a small ffice all staff are expected t be invlved in develping, supprting, delivering and driving all CASE business. This rle is a revenue-generating ne and ne measure f success will be incme targets achieved

3 Duties and Respnsibilities MEMBERSHIP STRATEGY T develp and deliver wrk that will facilitate the strategic plan bjective f 50% membership grwth utside the US ver the next 3 years. Grwth target markets include cuntries in Eurpe, arts and cultural institutins and institutins with smaller develpment functins in the UK. Manage the membership acquisitin and retentin plan, with particular emphasis n grwth markets acrss mainland Eurpe T identify new membership markets and develp membership engagement strategies T identify membership retentin strategies alngside the grwth agenda T identify and build relatinships with ptential partners t supprt membership grwth MEMBERSHIP ENGAGEMENT AND SUPPORT: Manage the Eurpean Advisry Cmmittee t ensure they are supprted t deliver their bjectives and actins fr membership engagement, meetings and events Manage the prvisin f the first line f custmer service fr all membership enquiries, with particular emphasis n grwth markets acrss mainland Eurpe Wrking with the membership team, develp and manage a membership stewardship prgramme in rder t imprve retentin t 97% DEVELOP MEMBER SERVICES Enhance CASE Eurpe s membership prducts, prgrammes, resurces and services t the educatinal advancement cmmunity acrss Eurpe Manage the develpment f cntent and engaging vlunteers fr educatinal prgrammes acrss mainland Eurpe. Currently there are tw: the Lwlands and Nrdic cnferences; but these may increase in future years. Yu will wrk clsely with the educatinal prgrammes team fr lgistics and event management, where yur respnsibility is relatinship and cntent management. Manage and Crdinate all membership marketing and cmmunicatins, in liaisn with marketing and cmmunicatins staff, with a fcus n grwth markets fr Eurpe Wrking with the membership team (including Research Manager), establish and maintain effective wrking relatinships with members and stakehlders, including, but nt limited t, vlunteer members leading n benchmarking and research prjects Research and maintain knwledge f legislatin and best practices relevant t educatinal advancement acrss Eurpe

4 Research and develp pprtunities fr funding and member-related prjects t enhance educatinal advancement in Eurpe Any ther duties as assigned by the Deputy Directr VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT Develp a vlunteer engagement plan and prcess fr CASE Eurpe and t wrk with ther regins n vlunteer engagement. Build a prtfli f vlunteers t help supprt CASE deliverables. Identify and apprach vlunteers fr varius cmmittees, educatinal prgrammes, research and ther areas acrss the rganisatin DATA, BUDGETS & REPORTING: Manage the prductin f the quarterly reprting n membership figures t the trustees, with the assistance f the membership team T manage team targets, member fees and budgets in relatin t membership 3) PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Qualificatins & Experience Educated t degree level Experience in a membership, vlunteer management, r supprter/alumni engagement rle Evidence f business develpment and/r marketing experience t deliver against incme and/r numerical targets at a team level and independently. Evidence f managing a team, budgets and targets Excellent relatinship-building and member services skills, demnstrating evidence f wrking with and develping pprtunities fr vlunteer, supprter and/r member engagement. Evidence f prfessinal membership/client-service experience. Evidence f initiative t slve prblems and turn ideas int actin. Strng rganisatinal skills and the ability t wrk t tight deadlines. Excellent time management and priritizatin skills with ability t be a self-starter and manage multiple prjects. Excellent ral and written cmmunicatin skills. Ability t understand and wrk with peple f a variety f different cultures. High cmfrt level with IT systems and gd wrking knwledge f Micrsft Office Suite (including Access), Outlk and Database Management. Strng eye fr detail and cncern fr accuracy. Desirable Skills Fluency and cmpetency in writing in ther Eurpean languages. Experience and knwledge f Eurpean educatin and funding.
