3 Introduction You can use the isolved Onboarding Wizard to complete your new hire paperwork electronically. Before you begin, here are few important things you ll need in order to complete the onboarding process: Social Security number Address Tax filing status and allowances To begin the onboarding process, you will receive an with a link to an authentication page where you will set up a password and security challenge question. Note that your session will expire after 20 minutes of inactivity. Information that you enter will be saved if you log out and return to complete the process later. If you need to return to the Onboarding Wizard after authenticating your user credentials, follow these steps: 1. Go to 2. Enter your username (your address) and the password you created during authentication. If you forgot your password, click the forgot password link and reset your password. 3. Click Login. 4 Navigation It s best to move through the pages in the Onboarding Wizard in order, because information you enter on earlier pages will appear automatically on later pages so you don t have to enter that information twice. For example, if you enter your birth date on the Other Employee Data page, you will not need to reenter it on the I-9 Info page. Move through the wizard by clicking the Next button at the top of the page. You can return to previous pages by clicking Previous. You can also select a page from the menu on the left side of the Onboarding Wizard to navigate directly to that page. Required Information Fields with an asterisk in front of the title are required. You won t be able to move to the next page until you enter information in required fields. isolved 2

5 Onboarding Wizard The pages that appear in the Onboarding Wizard will depend on your company s requirements. Some of the pages described in this document may not appear when you complete the Onboarding Wizard. The following pages of this document provide a brief description for each page along with important things to note when completing the Onboarding Wizard. Welcome The Welcome page will show some basic information about you, and may include a customized message from your new employer. Any documents attached to the Welcome page that have a Sign Acknowledgment button below them must be acknowledged before you can complete the onboarding process. Select the checkbox and click Sign Acknowledgment to acknowledge reading the document.

6 Employee Data Enter your name and address on the Employee Data page. Other Employee Data Enter your Social Security number, birth date, and other personal information on the Other Employee Data page. isolved 4

7 I-9 Information Form I-9 is required for employers to prove that you are legally authorized to work in the United States. Select your citizenship or immigration status from the drop-down. Enter your full name in the Signature of Employee field as it appears in the fields at the top of the I-9 Information page. Double-check to be sure your information in each field is correct. Then click Sign Form to complete the I-9 Information page. Once you click Sign Form, you can view a copy of your I-9 by clicking the Click Here link.

8 Tax Information The Tax Information wizard determines how much should be withheld for federal, state and local taxes. State and local tax questions will appear if applicable based on your address and your work location. Click Start to begin the Employee Withholding Resource Center wizard. Note: Complete the tax information wizard before moving to the next page in the Onboarding Wizard. Use the navigation buttons within the Employee Withholding Resource Center instead of the Next button at the top of the Tax Information page. isolved 6

9 Select Help me determine which withholding forms apply to me and click Continue. Move through the Employee Withholding Resource Center wizard by clicking the Next button at the bottom of the page. You do not need to complete a personal allowances worksheet. If you select Yes, you can work through the W-4 line by line. If you select No, you can simply select your filing status and enter the number of allowances you are claiming and any additional amount you will contribute in taxes.

10 Move through the Employee Withholding Resource Center wizard by clicking the Next button at the bottom of the page. Once you have completed your federal withholding, select the checkbox to declare that the information is accurate and enter the last four digits of your Social Security number. Then click Submit Form. Click Continue to complete state and local withholding if applicable. Once you have completed any applicable state and local withholding, click Finish. Once you receive the message below, click Next at the top of the page to continue through the Onboarding Wizard. isolved 8

11 EEO and Veterans Data Enter Equal Employment Opportunity and veteran information on the EEO and Veterans Data page. Note that Chose not to answer may be selected from the EEO Information drop-downs. Education Click Add New to add your education information.

12 Employee Contacts Click Add New to enter emergency contacts and benefit dependents or beneficiaries on the Employee Contacts page. isolved 10

13 Prior Employments Click Add New to enter prior employment information.

14 Certifications Click Add New to select any certifications that apply. Skills Click Add New to select any skills that apply. isolved 12

15 Direct Deposit Enter your bank account information for direct deposits on the Direct Deposits page. Select Prenote from the status drop-down to send a prenote file to your bank to verify the account information.

16 Confirmation Statement Review your information on the Confirmation Statement. All required information must be entered in the Onboarding Wizard before you can submit your onboarding information. If any pages are listed in the Action Required section, return to those pages and complete the required information. If the Welcome page is listed, a document is still requiring your acknowledgement. Return to the Welcome page and click the Sign Acknowledgement button. Once you ve entered all the required information, click Submit. If you need to make any changes after you ve submitted your information, contact HR. isolved 14
