6 Geberit concealed cistern / : Inside brick walls from 90 mm up to 110 mm Modern technique behind the wall The Geberit concealed cistern gives you a wide range of applications, especially the / with its thickness of only 90 mm allows you the installation in a brick wall with less than 120 mm. Geberit cisterns are known for their outstanding reliability = maintenance free! But if some parts have to be changed, this is absolutely no problem. After removal of the actuator plate or access cover, float valve and flush mechanism can be removed and easily replaced. The blue net protects the cistern and gives a basis onto which plaster can be directly applied.

10 Geberit Kombifix Geberit Kombifix: bidet, WC, washbasin Kombifix mounting elements (not selfsupporting) are used inside a brick wall in PreWall installation lined with masonry inside a brick wall The Kombifix mounting element is installed directly into the wall. For installation, before the brick wall is built up, the Kombifix is set on supporting legs and the wall is built around it. For installations in a space inside the wall, the gaps around the Kombifix element are filled with bricks to support the element. 11 Geberit Kombifix: washbasin, bidet, WC EN 38, the norm for wall-hung WC in front of a brick wall The Geberit Kombifix installations are fastened to the wall with bolts and dowels. The water supply and drainage pipes are mounted and afterwards tested and insulated. The drainage and the angle stop valve connection, as well as the threaded rods to mount the plumbing fiuxtures, are fastened at the right distances, so they will stay firmly in place until final assembly. Afterwards the installations are lined with masonry. In the total area from floor to floor only the stacks, risers and the area from the floor to the top of the installations need to be lined, whereby the top of the installation provides the foundation for a shelf. 18 Geberit GIS The Geberit installation system GIS permits simple, fast and complete construction of sanitary installations to the building shell stage in installation areas of new buildings and in the renovation of old buildings. 19 Rationalisation The modular system adapts individually to every situation. The installation work in the sanitary areas is simplified and considerably speeded up. Time consuming and difficult work is transferred from the building site to the workshop. Everything from one source With GIS, the installer is able to provide all services for the entire installation from one source. The number of people involved in the building work is reduced and coordination is simpler. The only remaining work consists of tile laying and electrical installation. Clear separation of functions and free bath design With its support system, GIS permits not only the erection of the usual installation against the wall, but also the construction of room walls or free-standing walls (e.g. partitions). Problems of the past, such as slotted walls and hence poor sound insulation, and unnecessary costs owing to the large number of people involved, will no longer be encountered in the future. Computer support To simplify planning and scheduling,geberit has developed a computer-assisted service software package, GIS-DLS, which can be used on common personal computers. An offer can be prepared for the enduser on the basis of plans or sketches. Future GIS is a system that opens up many more possibilities in sanitary technology for the designer.
