Plus, two exciting new events are being added this year: A Pirate Costume Ball and the Louisiana Pirate Festival Parade, which will travel on city streets into the festival grounds. The 2018 Pirate celebration will build on traditions of the past with a new focus on the future that highlights our culture and heritage. The Louisiana Pirate Festival is celebrating its 61st year and is made up of 10 days of frolicking fun.
