The League will play a key role in the new Child Advocacy Center (CAC) to be located in downtown Sarasota and will work cooperatively with the Child Protection Center, the leading agency in the CAC facility.

5 The League's project scope will include an Internet Safety Committee, a Child Abuse Prevention Education Committee, a Supervised Visitation Committee, a Roof-Top Playground Committee and additional special projects. Done in a Day Project Our Done in a Day committee develops four to six hands-on community projects that can be done in a day. Projects are researched, developed and implemented by the committee. Past projects include a blood drive, a diaper drive and spring cleaning for Mothers Helping Mothers, participation in the Sarasota Reading Festival, and participation in the Sarasota Arts Day. Content focuses on League-related matters including community service projects, fundraisers and leadership training. The magazine is published and distributed to our over 700 members along with community leaders five times each year. Advertising space is purchased directly from the Junior League of Sarasota. The 32nd Anniversary Holiday Tour of Homes Program serves as the ticket and guide for patrons attending the event, to be held Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6. Over 3,000 programs will be distributed throughout the Sarasota community. In keeping with the Holiday Tour of Homes theme this year of living green, we have partnered this year with green publisher Natural Awakenings to produce the programs for the Tour.
